I really liked the Tim Cahill, Mark Viduka, Bresciano generation, the one who was at the 2006 World Cup, but I didn't expect Australia 2022 to progress to the round of 16. I hadn't followed the Australian team since 2014, I was skeptical of their ability to progress to the round of 16 with the quality of the players that I underestimated. And they did, they beat Tunisia and Denmark which is a good European team. I am Belgian, but I love to see the enthusiasm for football, in countries where football is not the number 1 sport. Congratulations Australia, congratulations to the coach, and to the players that I underestimated , you are doing as well as your elders in 2006. The victory against Denmark is as good as against Uruguay in 2005.
