- Russia continues their missile strikes on Ukrainian thermal and hydroelectric power plants with current damage estimates being in the billions and requiring years to rebuild. Poland warns the world we are in a pre-war era and the next six months will determine how the next war that Russia starts will play out. Mike Johnson continues to block a simple up or down vote on military aid to Ukraine as conservative Reagan Republicans continue to resign from Congress in protest of Donald Trump and MAGA's support for Russia.

Fantastic episode Jake!🤔FWIW, if 'regular Republicans' don't step up & support the ouster of Speaker Johnson, I would not be shocked (and would fully support) if France and/or other allies of Ukraine (perhaps Poland?) decide to send *troops with air defence systems* into Ukraine to protect civilian/humanitarian infrastructure (hydroelectric dams, hospitals, etc.) Also, if these troops were to operate their air defence systems in Odessa, Lyviv, Kyiv and areas west of the Dnipro River, that would enable the Ukrainians to (a) focus all of their existing air defences & ammo in a smaller area, and (b) re-establish the significant threat that Ukraine's Patriot missiles would pose to Russian air power that has been using to bomb military & civilian targets. IMHO, the added bonus of both (a) and (b) would be that it would make Ukrainian airspace near the front lines much safer for the F-16s.
