Sing With You Soon! - Hudba
something fun to note about this one: since ricky isnt singing here in fall fair suite since hes mute, noel is actually singing two harmonies! one is a recorded track and one hes singing live, hence why you can hear him so clearly!
the more kholbs the better

I like that Jane's the last one singing at 2:54 (roughly). It means she was the last to die. So her line 'a melody floats through the air, when silence falls does no one care?' makes ALOT of sense to me. She was still screaming when they'd all died, but nobody recognized or noticed her. Leading to her feeling uncared for.
Ricky was the only one to notice the screams, it was super sweet!
its also stated that the human body can live for up to 30 seconds without a head
@@fklw. Yes! I love how they added details with that knowledge. Karnak’s dream of life is 30 seconds (from the musical not the cast recording.) In the ballad of Jane doe, she sings “I hear the anguish of the street” Meaning, her head was gone and she was probably hearing the commotion from the crowd. It’s really cool!
@@lilyplayzgames2021 its such an interesting concept and idea that they even decided to make use of that study but i am happy they did as this just proves how much studying the authors did
ricky being in the choir even though he's mute is an actual thing! it's outright stated that ocean got him into the choir for the sake of (incredibly superficial) diversity points. some of my favourite ricky dialogue in the whole show comes after ocean reminds him that she's the only reason he ever got in the choir - "yeah. and then i got on that rollercoaster... thanks. 😐"
“accessability for all☺️☺️”
People suspect that the order of who was sitting with who on the coaster is as followed: Ocean & Constance, Nole & Misha, and then Ricky & Jane.
Since Misha and Nole were dancing together people think they were clinging to eachither as they fell, that ocean tried clinging to constance but she was too high off adreniline to notice, and since Ricky heard Jane doe's "AhhhAhhhAhhh" part when no one else did- people think they were sitting next to eachother and That's why Ricky heard her since he was probably the only one of them to have evan a glance at her face.
Also since Ocean said she heard the crack- she probably knew they were going to die long before they hit the loop-d-loop, wich is when the costar broke and they fell to their deaths.
It's a great musical- but it is soo dark!
oh my gosh the theory that noel and mischa clung together before dying has me sobbing
This theory is so good! Also Noel and Mischa:( Also the Ricky thing is just....AH it makes so much sense!
Why did I read that as Mischa and Noel Pole dancing together
@Krystallight Pancake idk, my brain also misreads things & somehow comes up with something wildly different from what's actually written
that last part is actually why I sort of have a theory that Ocean making the final choice is becaue Karnak sends them back to the accident and when Ocean hears the crack this time instead of not doing anything in a panic/trying to help herself to no avail, she pushes Penny who's holding bar is already loose (hence why she flew off the back before everyone else) out of the cart before they get high enough for the fall to kill her. All that time she has knowing something bad is going to happen is only able to be put to use when shes no longer being a selfish ass
The line ‘I did not feel safe at all’ is my favourite of the show. It shows how young and vulnerable Ocean was. She was an AH, but she was also a child, and she didn’t deserve to die. Idk, that line just gives me goosebumps every time I hear it
In this song theres a theory that Jane Doe was the last person to die so while the rest of the group sings about them in the afterlife, Jane is thought to have been in the process of dying. At 2:40 when you hear her the theory thinks of that as her screams in the overworld
2:57 Jane Doe could be heard singing yet was no where in sight, this is actually because she had been in the coaster accident with the choir but no one even knew she was there until it was revealed by karnak. Also, this is the beginning of the musical so Jane Doe was still just a mystery character who hadn’t been revealed to us.
(fun fact! Jane Doe’s high note was meant to represent her screaming as she was hurled off the coaster. There is also speculation that Jane’s note lasted the longest because she was the last one to die in the accident. When decapitated, your head remains conscious for thirty seconds. Jane Doe was alive for thirty whole seconds after being beheaded, hence why her note is the longest.)
ricky was the only 1 who noticed her voice since he was the 1 sitting next 2 her on the coaster !
There is a theory on why Jane sang but didn’t appear. At the start of the show Jane sings and she “doesn’t have a head”. She is the first to appear and when she does her head is still missing so Karnak takes her back and has the others enter. This is why she enters a little while later. Karnak took her dolls head and gave it to Jane since it was the only thing he could do with short notice
I just noticed that Micsha and Nole grab Ricky's shoulders to pull him in the slight circle they move in, and I love that i just realized it.
It's genuinely so cute
fall fair suite is by far the num 1 intro song to rtc!! even though the other opening songs are amazing, this will always have a special place in my heart. excited to hear what you have to say abt this song!! ☺️
agreed!!
Wait theres other intro varieties???
@@hermesecho6193 yes! waiting for the drop and a tragic fact are the other two.
WHY DID THEY REPLACE THIS MASTERPIECE WITH THE URANIUM SUITE
@@g00dus3rn4m3. some of the shows had this gorgeous song 😍 and some of them didn’t. But they definitely should of had this in every show uranium suite sounds so awful compared to fall fair suite
Jane doe is missing because it shows that no one knows who she is. Also the fact Ricky looks around when jane does voice is first heared is to show the fact he's the only one who really noticed her at first. Cause like her cause he's mute he can go un noticed
Jane Doe actually appears in the opening song Karnak's Dream of Life then appears again later in the musical. Its not a very long song but it could be cool to react to, since it is the very beginning of the musical and the ending song ends with a couple of lines that are in it to make the musical come full circle.
We love how Ricky’s just like “Y’all hear that? No? Just me?”
There is a song at the very last part of the musical called Its Not a game/Its just a ride. Its amazing how it changes into such a happy thing, they're taking it all in that they've had their time and they enjoyed it while it lasted.❤
Not a Game/Just a Ride is one of my favorite songs in the musical!! its message so incredibly beautiful
I cry almost every time I watch Its Not a Game/Its Just a Ride. It’s so beautiful and heartfelt and bittersweet and sad and hopeful all in one.
Kholby (Noel’s actor) actually said he was singing 2 harmonies for this because he’s filling Ricky’s spot. One with a recorded voice and then he’s singing the other harmony
A cool thing about RTC is that it has no leitmotifs. None of 'em! Except for the rising and falling notes present in this song (where you can hear Jane Doe at the end) and that then reappear in The Ballad ofJane Doe - signifying how all she knows about herself is that she was in the crash.
(Also it makes sense that there are no leitmotifs besides that one because the kids got lumped together in death as a tragedy - the musical is them finally getting a chance to show what they were like as *individuals* rather than just the kids who died on the rollercoaster. I think it's super interesting!)
It is! You’re so right! Thanks for watching!
Well, the beginning of fall fair suite ("Step right up, it's goodly fun, all the games and rides, a little something for everyone") has the same melody as later in the song ("Then you're sailing through space, you don't know up from down, and you feel a little strange, from all that's spinning round")
During the "algebra 12 kiss my *ss" bit you can see Ricky sort of glaring at Ocean which at first seems like nothing but later on in the musical it is revealed that he basically blames her for his death.
Love Fall Fair Suite! It's definitely my preferred intro over Uranium Suite. As for Jane Doe, she's introduced a bit later in this production and it's explained that no one saw her get on the ride. She wasn't even supposed to be on the trip until she decided to join at the last minute! However, there *is* a video shown of the students at the fair, with one of them covering their face or having it hidden the entire time. This student is implied to be Jane Doe :)
Also, if you want another musical to listen to, have you listened to SIX: The Musical? It's based on Henry the VIII's wives. While I don't remember much, each of the wives are inspired by modern singers! I have to warn you though, All You Wanna Do deals with a particularly heavy theme. Regardless, I can't recommend the musical enough and the cast recording is so good imo! The songs themselves don't give much context but, essentially, the musical is about them competing to see who had the worst life with Henry. Each song is their reason as to why (except one of them).
Yes I’m very familiar with Six! I’ve always loved retelling of Henry VIII story with his wives. I’m glad we are keeping history alive in such an awesome way! Seeing six love is like watching an epic concert, I highly recommend it! I agree though, some scenes are a tad heavy. As a mom “Heart of Stone” breaks me.
Thanks for watching!
6:42 how did I never notice Noel and Misha putting their hands on Ricky's shoulder here? (Presumably to keep him from falling back)
It’s so sweet and cute 😭
one of my favourite details of this song is ricky looking around in confusion when jane sings. a few people have mentioned the theory that jane's vocals are meant to signify her screaming as she dies in the living world - another part of that theory is that ricky was sat closest to her and died second to last (you may notice he only starts singing at the end of the song) and was therefore able to hear her screaming long after the others were already dead.
I'd highly recommend Jane Doe's Entrance next! It's so haunting and lovely. And then I think you've just got Karnak's Dream of life (that you could probably sneak into Jane Doe's Entrance as they're both short songs), New Birthday Song (Another short one that you could probably combine in), and It's Just a Ride and then you've had the full original off-Broadway US run!
"i hope i wiped my browser history clean" it is my personal belief that constance has been reading yaoi/slashfic. after noel's lament she keeps talking about enjoying when noel & mischa kissed, its so funny for me to imagine her as a fujoshi lmao
Praying that the other opening you're doing is waiting for the drop I love it so much
oh my god same, waiting for the drop is definitely my favourite opening
there's many intros to this musical throughout its run tragic drop was the first, and uranium suite is the newest one which is on the album, there's also waiting for the drop and this one. (there's variations of each) Ive found all of these versions online at some point .
“nothing left to do except to ROOOOT✨”
“SE-“
*ashley cuts its off*
I think you said something about Constance not screaming at the end I'm pretty sure is because before her song she said something about her not screaming when the roller coaster fell.
Yes! She says it in her monologue before she sings Sugar Cloud! ☁️
actually if u listen reaaaally close you can hear jane's voice throught out the whole song, she's not there but she is singing with them the whole time
it’s because in theatre even if you’re not on stage you need to be singing harmonies backstage, she just helps out with singing the harmonies
Jane doe comes in after this song. I'm so glad that your doing songs from this musical it has to be my favorite one you should do Sunday in the park with george next
This has to be my favorite version of the opening for Ride the Cyclone! Thank you so much for covering all the amazing songs from one of my personal fave musicals! 💗
Im starting to concur!
A fact I noticed when Noel and Mischa was spinning around together, I’m pretty sure it represents they holding onto each other when they were falling
after ride the cyclone i'd suggest to react to some starkid musicals because they post the full musical online, so it'd be easier to find. i'd recommend the guy who didnt like musicals or twisted or even firebringer because it has beautiful harmonies)
This!!
Seconded, especially for Twisted! (Full bias on my part, lol)
@@juliacalhoun9491 im partial to tgwdlm cus its my fav (and the first i was rly a fan for when it came out) but they are all so good
yeeeeeeees, tgwdlm is my fave!
Ooh yes pls!
OCEANS BIT IS SO GOOD
I think all that’s left is ‘the new birthday song’ ‘this song is awesome’ and possibly ‘Jane Doe introduction’ and ‘Uranium suite’
0:01 I’m pretty sure Jane was till falling, thats why all you can here from her is really just “ahhh”
FYI, Mishka helps Ricky go around, and it's so futher mucking cute 🥺
Noel too! It's really cute
Jane Doe is actual through the whole song providing the really high notes 😎
8:18 "far from the city little itty bitty pretty home town"
THANK YOU 🙏 anyone else read this comment in their voices? 🤣
Omg I’m so excited this is my favorite opening song
Jane doe wasn’t in this cause she died after everyone else, her screaming was symbolizing her falling and seeing the other bodies before becoming one herself.
I had a theory that since Jane doe was the last body to be found that's why she wasn't there because she was missing before they found her and she was also the last to die so I felt like at 2:45 that was her screaming alone since she was the last to die so she was the last one screaming
Jane Doe appears later as the mystery contestant, since in her presentation they said she joined the Choir last minute, but her body was found without her head in the Cyclone accident. Her name is Jane Doe, because that's what they call unidentified female corpse's. [The same thing happens for undidentified male corpse's, but is John instead of Jane.] In her song she says "Just John and me, for ever eternally Jane Doe" doing a reference that she [female unidentified corpse] and John [male unidentified corpse] where the only ones without a real identity, and she also said "Saint Pete, let me in, you must known where I've been, or won't you tell me at last who I am", desperate for knowing who she actually was since he supposedly knew everyone in Uranium City [except her]. My theory is she never got an answer, [that is why she said "For ever eternally Jane Doe"] cuz in another fragment, Karnak said that Saint Pete died [from a heart attack] 7 hours after she joined the choir, and she was knocking in the door while he was already dead so Jane never got Reasons why Jane Doe wasn't identified (sadly :C)
1, When she died, no one came [that is presented both in her presentation and her song, "No parents came and so they never learned my name." [Presentation] And in her song as "Why be left with NO FAMILY and NO FRIENDS?" [Cuz she made friends with the Choir].
2, I know I said this 100 times, but she was found headless. And no one knew her. No one had pictures of her.
This is an explicacion for u Ashley. :]
you need to listen to ‘this song is awesome!’ (another one of our beloved Micha’s songs!)
There are three other openings. Uranium Suit/ Tragic Fact, Waiting for the Drop, and Uranium Suit. Uranium Suit/ Tragic Fact has a live recording with a video, but the other two just have live audio (I think)
THIS IS SINGLE-HANDEDLY THE BEST SONG IN THE ENTIRE MUSICAL
Even better than Jane doe?!
Ngl the group mixed together is literally my personality-
Wow! Amazing video! I'm excited to see you compare fall fair suite and uranium suite! There's no actual video for uranium suite (I think) but there is the cast recording. As for the harmonies in this song, I'm pretty sure that Male voice you were talking about was Mischa.
Based on what I've seen regarding sheet music and covers of this song/ musical in general, its usually ocean and noel with the more melodic parts. While mischa and constance have the lower harmonies!
I'd love to see more and see you react to other musicals and what not after your done with this series. If you ever want to properly watch this musical once your done with this series just so you can understand the story and see the introductions a bit more you can probably find a bootleg here on youtube!
Once again, amazing video, I'm excited to see more!
JSKDJDJKS IM SO EXCITED! you should totally react to ‘it’s not a game/it’s just a ride’ and ‘this song is awesome’!
id watch the premier but its at 2am where im at NDKSBSSKS so happy ur reacting to it tho!! gotta be my fav intro song
The recording is available now on my channel! Go give it a watch! Hopefully you can make the next one!
The reason Jane doe isn’t there on stage but you can hear her is because she was typically the last one to die so she was still falling from the coaster at that point, and the guy in the middle of the circle they have during Jane’s harmony thing you could see he was looking around and it seems he’s the only one who can hear her and that’s true because he was the second last to die lol hopes this helps anyone I know it’s been a year but I’m a nerd about this and couldn’t let anyone else who watches this not know the reason
I’m seeing a lot of people hoping you react to waiting for the drop, which is a solid recommendation, but I’m kind of rooting for uranium suite. It has a lot of interesting elements I’d love to hear you talk about
I can't wait for you to watch the full musical! 😄
My reaction is now available on the live tab if my channel! Enjoy!! And thank you so much for watching! 🤍🥹
From what I've seen theirs 9 Intros of the choir (their are doubles because of small lyric changes and ones that did exist but no proof)
Uranium original 2008 (nothing found)
Uranium (lyric change) 2011 (9 second rehearsal clip)
Tragic fact (full song available)
Tragic fact (lyric change) (nothing found)
Fall fair suite (the one you just listen to)
Fall fair suite (lyric change) (the first half of the songs lyrics were changed| audio only)
Waiting for the Drop (half of the full song is available in video form but the full audio is available)
The Uranium Suite (album)
The Uranium Suite (lyric change live)(the only change is how it's preform)
There were so many because of small plot changes and the feelings they wanted to song to give off.
This version was made because if I'm correct they wanted to replicate the original dorky choir song without the drawing attention to Uranium city the real city they based it on
Theirs commentary video they did for each of the songs
That’s awesome! I have to watch the commentary!
You should listen to the last song of the musical. It’s called “it’s not a game/it’s just a ride”. It’s one of my favorite and there’s a lot of similarities to this one. It really rounds up the story super nicely
you should do tragic fact or waiting for the drop! they are alternate openings from other versions of the show
this is an awesome song!! so glad you're reacting to it :)
Been waiting to put aside some time to watch, this video ( as always ), was amazing, I have a very big request. A reaction of the entire show, you are missing context the songs don’t convey, and I feel a full reaction would be an amazing way to end the series. Keep up the good work!
You should totally react to some music by miracle musical, sadly it's not an actual musical, but it is an album, the name of the album is Hawaii pt II
i LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! if only there were infinite versions of RTC songs.
I discovered your channel with this series reviewing the RTC songs. Im subscribed, but I really hope when you move onto something new you still show up in my reccomended!
Thanks for making all of these! They get me through work days sometimes lol!
So sweet! Thank you for watching ❤
This is the best opening song from rtc, so excited!!!
Live laugh love ride the cyclone
you should watch jane does entrance. its short but the poem like singing is great
Jane isn’t shown in this one because she is know later on as Jane Doe so it wouldn’t make sense to see her before he as Jane Doe because the audience doesn’t know who is she is so they didn’t show her until ‘Jane doe’s entrance’ but you hear her voice to show that she was on the ride. That’s what I think at lea but idk lol
This has nothing related to RTC but seriously your hair in braids is adorable
😂🥰🤗 thank you so much!
Because there are a few other versions I really recommend checking them out, even if in your personal life.
The order of them being used is
Uranium Suite: Tragic Fact
Fall Fair Suite
Waiting For The Drop
Uranium Suite
I think all are amazing, but my personal favorite narratively is Tragic Fact or Uranium Suite
Please react to “it’s not a game/just a ride” from Ride the Cyclone and bring a whole box of tissues.
There are like 4 or 5 different openings to Ride the Cyclone which is a bit crazy 😆there is:
Fall Fair Suite
Uranium suite
Tragic fact
Waiting for the drop
And there might be one more but I can't remember right now
once you finish reacting to the songs you should definitely watch the full musical, it’ll answer some of the questions you’re having about the plot 😂 like where Jane Doe is
the reason you dont see jane doe is because shes not dead yet and she still has her head, and youre not supposed to see her head or know what she looks like until the very ending of the musical
Whatcha Jane doe's entrance, it's amazing (it is a song) It's immaculate PLEASE WATCH!!!
Edit: Also watch the opening scene the song title is Karnak's dream of life because Jane doe's entrance is a little short 😀
THIS SONG IS AWESOME K BEEEEEG
You should react to the last song! It's "It's not a game/It's just a ride". One of my favorites, and in my opinion, one of the saddest!
Ya know, I was first introduced to your channel while watching Sam & Ryan’s video where they reacted to you reacting to Ryan singing Dead Girl Walking and then I started getting recommendations for your vids lol.
Intrigue! I think you are thinking of Hannah Bayles! I love her, she’s amazing!
@@singwithAshley I guess I was. I looked through her channel and realized why I thought she was you. You two are probably doppelgängers lol. Not to mention I tend to forget names or think someone was someone else lol.
You should react to the entrance of Jane doe it’s short but it answers your question
Jane doe the song?
@Ashley Kennedy it's called Jane Doe's Entrance. It's when she first appears in the musical
i wholeheartedly recommend waiting for the drop! it's another one of rtc's intros, and my other favorite besides fall fair suite :)
😇🫡
Have you got to watch the full version of the play with this cast? If not reach out please. This cast is my favorite and I'd be able to help you get to watch them perform the entire play.

There’s like 4 openings I think
You are correct! My reactions to each one is up now!
Can you react to a song from another Musical? You can react to The Room Where It Happens or Burn, by the Musical Hamilton. I love how you react to Ride The Cyclone and I'd love to see your reaction to one of these too!!
Ooo may be over critical with Hamilton since I’ve listened to them so much. I teach them a ton and have broken these songs down . Maybe I’ll do break downs instead of reactions?
Sounds great! Thanks for have answered my comment, I didn't know you already listened to Hamilton before but I'm glad you gave me an answer^^
Please react to karnaks dream of life and it’s not a game/it’s just a ride. Plz they’re so good. Karnaks dream of life opens the show and it’s so creepy and fun.
