I would pay for you to help me learn chinese mandarin from a non native speaker, i would rather pay you than these apps, I would love to know how you corrected your tones and pronunciation. I'm studying chinese in college now and learning tones and pronunciation is soo hard for me.

She is Nigerian, probably embarrassed by it. If you are really proud of your country (even if it is imperfect) you should be able to say it. I am just curious about the state she is from (I already have some speculation based on the accent) and her real name.
What's even funny is that Nigerians don't necessarily identify as black (even if we are blacks), we identify based on nationality, ethnic group/tribe and religion. It is really weird for a Nigerian not to answer this "where are you from question"

She is probably from Nigeria, the middle belt (maybe Plateau state, based on the accent but it might also be Benue or Kogi state). I don't know why she will never say it (except she is embarrassed of been a Nigerian). I can notice she tongue twist her accent to fit the black American accent.
Also, other African Nationals in China speaking Mandarin are always proud of saying the country there from when asked.

@@nyclee9133 I am Nigerian and I can spot a Nigerian mile away from how they talk, construct English and hand gestures. Also, her IG she follows certain popular Nigerian content creators in Nigeria. We Africans can identify each other based on certain noticeable behavior and traits.
