As an Edith main, I have played a lot of games with her, love the style. She is a bit of a jack of all trades, as such she falls behind a bit towards the late game. The first three levels can be tuff, but get your ulti and you will suddenly surprise the enemy with your new dynamic. She is a good overall, and fun to play solo q because most people don't want to play tank. Assume the tank role, surprise with your burst and hope the game ends before it gets to deep.

Before the game gets too deep? Man i had a game as Atlas that lasted 43 minutes until we won. We were against a godly Khufra and Badang but i was godly and so was my brother using Xavier (we are warcrime duo). THE SOLE REASON why we played for so long was the fact we had an absolute DOGSH-T mm that was dead 24/7 so we couldnt push. Like, i ult badang, this mf teleports under enemy tower and dies.... Still i defended something that felt like 10 lords and i made 10+ 3 man sets, always including their mm and mage and we were so close to getting backdoored by roger 2-3 times i actually sh*t myself. Luckily, their mm was Lesley so i could afford a onepiece build with tough boots, dominance, athena, quirass, guardian and immortal/TWILIGHT ARMOR. I had 11/12k hp with twilight armor so i wasnt afraid at all against 3,6k single shot lesley cuz 1st hit was blocked by twilight armor. If shes to poke me again, shes damn risking that flicker ult to befall her. I dont like long games as i felt sorry for that Khufra. He was really good. Big respect 🍷🗿
Edith actually a great pick if u play soloq. She can tank, can deal damage, can cc lock enemy hero and extremely important is she can *PUSH* . The only problem I had with her is that enemy will run away everytime I used ult and chasing enemy when using ult is a pain in the ass
I have some tips: 1.Get warrior boots first, its passive increases your phys def when getting hit so it is actually a very good first item. 2.Use tenacity talent for more outplay potential. 3.About the 2nd skill + flicker trick: aim flicker right after using 2nd skill, once she catches someone, use flicker immediately. 4.Her dmg in ult state seems huge, but most of it actually comes from her passive so remember to use your skill as frequently as possible. 5.Feather of heaven is a good item for her, it can increase her basic atk dmg in ult by almost 2x (exclude passive dmg), but it only works in early or mid game. 6.Her dmg drops significantly against enemies with even 1 magic def item so you need to take advantage of her strength in early game. 7.Calamity reaper is good for late game, replace Feather of heaven with it if you see enemies have magic def. 8.After using ult to push enemies back, don't auto aim her 2nd skill bcs it has a delay so your 2nd will most likely miss. Aim it properly to have the best effect of her chain CCs. 9.Her 1st and 2nd skill combo can perfectly chain stun an enemy without resilience so to escape from it you need tough boots or tough potion. 10.Last but not least, during ult state her def is 0, so except for her high hp, she is actually even more squishy than your normal MMs, so remember to reposition yourself.

Actually, I don't have a fixed build for tank, it depends on situation a lot, like which one of the enemy is the most fed I will have to skip brute force and build athena shield or dominance ice or antique cuirass right away;if enemy team has lots of cc then I have to use tough boots instead of warrior boots; and if they have lots of burst heroes then forget about feather or reaper, I will have to build full tank.

twilight armor isnt working on her really well, you need either attack speed MAGIC items or many def items so she gets more damage. Also dont steal the Edit(h): thing.
YESSS MY MAIN!!! Edit(h): always use basic attack after a skill when clearing minion wave cuz her passive does chain lightning up to three or four enemies, it's useful when the enemy hero is far and you don't feel like chasing them, you can just use one skill and attack their minion and watch the chain lightning poking them lol, another tip is use a skill first before basic attack the tower, her passive does work against the tower. Normally when fighting the enemy hero, I would use 2nd and 1st skill combo with phalanx and the basic attack to "give" the enemy a chance to kill me. The truth is, I'm just making sure the rage bar is high enough to deal enormous amount of damage when morphing into flight mode, it work quite well as a bait as the enemy doesn't really have a chance to run away and the moprhing will also dash you to the chosen area and push the enemies a bit. I would normally dash the ulti to the side where the enemy would most likely escape to block their way.
Just a little tip for Betosky; when using Edith's S2, you can just tap her S1 and it will automatically aim to where your target will land. Aiming her S1 will make you risk not landing its knockup.
this just creates a bad habit of tapping skills instead of aiming it though, which isnt good if theres two enemies you want to stum but you stunned the wrong enemy instead

The "None Offensive" State is when you don't use her skills, Most of the damage from her Ult is her Passive. Her basic attacks can basically only deal 30-35% At best of the Damage with no Chain Lightning.
As an edith main, i'd have to say: as a roamer pick either Inspire or Vengeance. Also, build feather of heaven as your second, and build tough boots first. As 5th item use calamity reaper, and the last either oracle or immortality. The 2 and 3 are the defense items, blade armor and a magic def. Also she can be a jungler, she is absolutely insane. Been playing her since elite 2, i am now mythical glory Edit(h): You can play super aggresively against ANY physical damage hero, she is just a beast.

The fun on using Edith is that she's as tanky as F in her Basic Form, and sometimes more painful than the Core/DPS in her Ultimate Form. Thanks to her I manage to reach Legend Rank when I was just on Epic 3, and got a 100% Winrate, until that time where the enemy is too strong.... But still 1 lose out of just around 20-30 Matches is good~
Also, I sometimes build Feather of Heaven is the enemy don't build Defense Items and are squishy. But if they are tanky, I'll just build Calamity Reaper since in her Ultimate Form, Calamity Reaper can deal over 1000 True Damage + Inspire
Edith is a solid hero indeed and you are right, most assassins wouldn't target her. Although, she isn't hard to deal with either. You can bait the ult or use heroes like lolita & natalia who can block/immune the damage and shut her down since all of her defenses goes poof during her ult state. Other than that... I would never tank her ult face on. The Damage is insane, especially with calamity reaper. In the of the day, positioning and timing is needed since she is still a marksman.
I recently had a winstreak using Edith only (but I do use Aamon and Dyrroth but not much), and using her in the EXP will make my enemies pretty much run away from me if my passive is fully charged and my Inspire ready. I even got a Maniac with her when there's a teamfight contesting for the lord or even the turtle. Feather of Heaven is my only DMG item if she's an EXP laner with Inspire, and heck even she's being used as a roamer with Vengeance, just make sure her passive is fully charged right before u use ur ulti and then make ur enemies suffer from ur dmg😳😳
tip: her first skill will still work even if u are cced so you can also cc ur opponents back. like when guinevere jumps on you u can cc her too and she cant do her combo right away. also i dont know but if i noticed this right but when jhonson is in his ult he tries to charge towards you, you can use her 1 skill and johnson will just pass under you. it happened to me during a match.
I noticed that Betosky doesn't like showing the scores at the end of the game whenever he's not the MVP for some reason. Sometimes we just wanna take a look at the builds in the end.
Because the video it was not made for tips ot tricks or proffesional play he was just trying the "New buffed Edith" . I watch him closely everytime and i think thats why he is not showing a "Recomended build" or something else :))✌️❤️
I understand what you mean but he also shows when he lose so what that means?🤣 Its like in "money investments" he is showing you what he is doing "his work" its not isomething that he recommends when he has videos with build and tricks yes he reccomends doing that because its a game and what works for him works for you as well in terms of build ttb but not expertise thats something that you need to earn playing the game and being aware of your mistakes and learn from them :)) He is not perfect neither us ✌️❤️
What I love so much abt Edith is her ability to push turrets. The moment the enemy exp laner leaves the lane and goes somewhere else, Edith would've already depleted the gold shield and some of the turrets health. And if there wasn't any shield there the turret would've been gone within seconds
Edith is good in every role but it really depends on your game style and your teammates corporation, i tried edith as core its good from mid game to late, in early just farm until lvl 4 or you get your core item
edith was really good even when she first got released n no one was using her that often compared to now. i rmb that time my bf was telling me edith is too good n he even got savage playing her bcz people just underestimate her dmg. she just gets better n better, in the right hands, she's beyond godly.
Edith is such a fun tank/marksman,you can build her hybrid,full tank,full mage,or full attack speed! but the reason i dont use her in soloq is because of her slow skills,if the enemy cc's you before your skills cc/stun them you might die
You should wait until her stack which is the white bar below her hp is full before ulting so that you get more shield and regen it also increases attack speed I think
Mained edith because of her design, when I main someone I learn em pretty well starting with how their skill set works. People sleeps on Tenacity abit but its actually good. Can compete pretty well!
Protip: you can proc Edith's passive(every time using skill, she got 2nd extra small lighting chain dmg) on turret. So, you almost can double the dmg you dealt to turret
Either seems really good, especially since most of the time my team c9mp is a bit messy, Edith being able to play 3 lanes well, roam exp and gold seems really good, ult rotates between heavy damage and heavy defence with good cc

A good buff is when they can decide in which to go in Tank or Marksman form like Selena's Goddess Mage into her Monster Assassin or Roger with his Human Marksman and his Wolf Fighter

An Edith GOLD LANER is a good pick if you have an assassin/pusher EXP LANER and/or if your SUPPORT is not a front liner, in a meta of 2 "tanks", usually the ROAM+EXP or CORE+EXP, EDITH MM will still give your team a frontliner that you badly needed.
Edith is so good in xp/gold or roam playstyle cause she is tanky and still deals a lot of dmg and also 2 cc skills. Got a 91% wr on her probably close to 100% this season
I always play edith these days and its so.convenient after casting a skill you can damage 3 basic attacts on all minions in a row and nearby hero like hanabi does while confidently playing her like using franco. Tanky and insane burst damage of ult.
Everyone, please let Edith's energy bar full by taking more damage, that way you had more shield upon skill cast as well as more attack spd and magic lifesteal from her ultimate.
Just letting you all know, when you managed catch enemy using edith, use her ult to push enemy in the turret (if you close by) because her ult has a little bit CC. Oh and try using her passive on minion if the enemy too far..

As an Edith main I play her in all 5 lanes but the only problem is Edith is quite useless if the enemy team has alot of cc and she is a slow hyper but her ult in the first turtle makes up for it
I really formidable hero indeed, the only things that bug me are that none of her dashes pass through was and that her ult skill2 is very impractical(long projectile speed, long foreswing, hard to hit)

I've just recently picked her up, but Edith is defo one of the most Versatile heroes in the game, she's good as the roamer, mm or even exp laner, and the plus is that even if you build her full tank, her damage is still scary! I'd say Edith is a solid pick for ranking up rn.
You can even try Edith as the Jungler too, but I'd recommend not to. I tried Jungler Edith and although it's not her strong suit, she can actually carry hard.

Edith is OP, even long before she was buffed... can sustain almost all mage's burst, and then turn the table when opponents' skills has ran out...

TIP: You have the option to cancel her ULT form once you feel that you are no longer in the offensive. regain your def stats and your 2 cc skills.

The fun on using Edith is that she's as tanky as F in her Basic Form, and sometimes more painful than the Core/DPS in her Ultimate Form. Thanks to her I manage to reach Legend Rank when I was just on Epic 3, and got a 100% Winrate, until that time where the enemy is too strong.... But still 1 lose out of just around 20-30 Matches is good~
Also, I sometimes build Feather of Heaven is the enemy don't build Defense Items and are squishy. But if they are tanky, I'll just build Calamity Reaper since in her Ultimate Form, Calamity Reaper can deal over 1000 True Damage + Inspire

Edith is a solid hero indeed and you are right, most assassins wouldn't target her. Although, she isn't hard to deal with either. You can bait the ult or use heroes like lolita & natalia who can block/immune the damage and shut her down since all of her defenses goes poof during her ult state.
Other than that... I would never tank her ult face on. The Damage is insane, especially with calamity reaper.
In the of the day, positioning and timing is needed since she is still a marksman.

Edith is the kind of hero i pick when I have zero trust in my team's mm
I recently had a winstreak using Edith only (but I do use Aamon and Dyrroth but not much), and using her in the EXP will make my enemies pretty much run away from me if my passive is fully charged and my Inspire ready. I even got a Maniac with her when there's a teamfight contesting for the lord or even the turtle. Feather of Heaven is my only DMG item if she's an EXP laner with Inspire, and heck even she's being used as a roamer with Vengeance, just make sure her passive is fully charged right before u use ur ulti and then make ur enemies suffer from ur dmg😳😳

tip: her first skill will still work even if u are cced so you can also cc ur opponents back. like when guinevere jumps on you u can cc her too and she cant do her combo right away. also i dont know but if i noticed this right but when jhonson is in his ult he tries to charge towards you, you can use her 1 skill and johnson will just pass under you. it happened to me during a match.

I noticed that Betosky doesn't like showing the scores at the end of the game whenever he's not the MVP for some reason. Sometimes we just wanna take a look at the builds in the end.
Because the video it was not made for tips ot tricks or proffesional play he was just trying the "New buffed Edith" . I watch him closely everytime and i think thats why he is not showing a "Recomended build" or something else :))✌️❤️

I understand what you mean but he also shows when he lose so what that means?🤣 Its like in "money investments" he is showing you what he is doing "his work" its not isomething that he recommends when he has videos with build and tricks yes he reccomends doing that because its a game and what works for him works for you as well in terms of build ttb but not expertise thats something that you need to earn playing the game and being aware of your mistakes and learn from them :)) He is not perfect neither us ✌️❤️

What I love so much abt Edith is her ability to push turrets. The moment the enemy exp laner leaves the lane and goes somewhere else, Edith would've already depleted the gold shield and some of the turrets health. And if there wasn't any shield there the turret would've been gone within seconds
Edith is good in every role but it really depends on your game style and your teammates corporation, i tried edith as core its good from mid game to late, in early just farm until lvl 4 or you get your core item

edith was really good even when she first got released n no one was using her that often compared to now. i rmb that time my bf was telling me edith is too good n he even got savage playing her bcz people just underestimate her dmg. she just gets better n better, in the right hands, she's beyond godly.

You should wait until her stack which is the white bar below her hp is full before ulting so that you get more shield and regen it also increases attack speed I think

Mained edith because of her design, when I main someone I learn em pretty well starting with how their skill set works. People sleeps on Tenacity abit but its actually good. Can compete pretty well!
Protip: you can proc Edith's passive(every time using skill, she got 2nd extra small lighting chain dmg) on turret. So, you almost can double the dmg you dealt to turret

Either seems really good, especially since most of the time my team c9mp is a bit messy, Edith being able to play 3 lanes well, roam exp and gold seems really good, ult rotates between heavy damage and heavy defence with good cc
At 2:58, the blue indicator did suppose to hit bruno, but maybe after releasing your finger the alignment slightly off that the blue indicator didn't have time to catch up and the skill already released

Ive played Edith in gold lane too. Against a brody, the best early game mm, and i still managed to do really well
Edith is one hero I really want to start using she has a lot of potential and an amazing hero to push and ayeee Lancelot is from my country very rare I see someone from my country he was also amazing
An Edith GOLD LANER is a good pick if you have an assassin/pusher EXP LANER and/or if your SUPPORT is not a front liner, in a meta of 2 "tanks", usually the ROAM+EXP or CORE+EXP, EDITH MM will still give your team a frontliner that you badly needed.
Edith is so good in xp/gold or roam playstyle cause she is tanky and still deals a lot of dmg and also 2 cc skills. Got a 91% wr on her probably close to 100% this season
You can play Edith anywhere actually ..even in mid since she deals Magic DMG and has lots of CC. She's a complete package of a hero.

Beto, Edith's passive works on turrets as well. Try to use a skill before hitting the turret and you'll deal extra dmg to them.
I always play edith these days and its so.convenient after casting a skill you can damage 3 basic attacts on all minions in a row and nearby hero like hanabi does while confidently playing her like using franco. Tanky and insane burst damage of ult.
Everyone, please let Edith's energy bar full by taking more damage, that way you had more shield upon skill cast as well as more attack spd and magic lifesteal from her ultimate.
Just letting you all know, when you managed catch enemy using edith, use her ult to push enemy in the turret (if you close by) because her ult has a little bit CC.
Oh and try using her passive on minion if the enemy too far..

Edith is my 2nd favorite character. My first pick I'm still holding out hope for... Natalia.
As an Edith main I play her in all 5 lanes but the only problem is Edith is quite useless if the enemy team has alot of cc and she is a slow hyper but her ult in the first turtle makes up for it
It balance duh. If you make him fast hyper, she will become permanent ban. Mostly every MM is slow hyper. And for CC all hero is weak to CC.

I really formidable hero indeed, the only things that bug me are that none of her dashes pass through was and that her ult skill2 is very impractical(long projectile speed, long foreswing, hard to hit)

I've just recently picked her up, but Edith is defo one of the most Versatile heroes in the game, she's good as the roamer, mm or even exp laner, and the plus is that even if you build her full tank, her damage is still scary! I'd say Edith is a solid pick for ranking up rn.
You can even try Edith as the Jungler too, but I'd recommend not to. I tried Jungler Edith and although it's not her strong suit, she can actually carry hard.
