The single chick in the nest grows to maturity under the care of its two parents. Several videos show the chicks being given large amounts of food. From 3 day old chicks to 12 day old chicks I took the time to record them using my cell phone camera which I kept near the nest and then left the nest. so that the mother can come down to feed her young.

I dont know why, but its funny seeing baby birds eat a while lizard, and how their mouths stay opened, waiting for anything.

That's why these bird babies get eaten so much. Because their big loud mouths are ALWAYS open and screaming, calling attention to themselves.
