Once a simple Tuba soldier, Brass was horribly mutated by one of the Tuba Wizards experiments. Now plagued by constant pain and delusions of grandeur, this mass of tuba slays all that enter his lair.
immune to almost any status effect, this boss can tank through your hits, and dish out moves that can one shot your entire team if you're not well prepared. don't be fooled by his slow movement, he's only charging up his attacks that deal massive damage and hit with very fast frames. if you can possibly defeat this mass of brass, then you will be rewarded for your efforts, as he will drop the massive brass plate armor, which boosts defensive capabilities tenfold at the cost of speed reduction.
You'll also get the Masses special speed buff. Adding a 100% speed boost to your attacks and movements. But a word of cation to this. This buff can only be used once in a battle and only lasts 40 seconds. So get as many hits as you can.
Actually you can trivialise the fight by applying the corrosion debuff, he takes 2x the damage, but you have to be careful because if you do this he’ll move into his 2nd phase quicker than he normally would
A fair warning. If the wrong weapon is used to slay him, he becomes the Tuba Abomination. That thing is far more dangerous. Me and my team, found it out the hard way.
An eldritch Brass horror none had dare challenge, the Maestro approaches the shambling mass that clammers and doots before him, Could this horrific beast even call itself a creature anymore? This horrific abandoned creation resting in the Barren Wastelands of Bach deep within the trenches where those who fell in never returned out alive... What remained of the Tuba kingdom's royal labs were now just piled up with bones and bodies... Grease marks, blood, and even some fresh brass entrails were scattered about leading to the main room where this being had nested. Its lair knee-deep in skeletons and bodies of foolish adventurers who tried facing this unspeakable terror that was busy gnawing on yet another fresh kill... The Maestro stepped forth, an ungodly smell assaulted his nostrils. A heart-quivering orchestra played softly about the air as the Maestro could hear the crunching of bone and slurping of flesh. Before the Maestro could even question what nightmare this cretin crawled out of, the beast roared and razed the once shuddering airwaves and caused them to quake and tremble beneath its wrath. The Maestro readied himself for battle... For he had made a cataclysmic mistake by interrupting the Tubashaggoth's feeding time.
Honestly this was one of the more disturbing bosses, I mean he has such a tragic backstory about how he used to work at the now abandoned tuba power plant where he got infected by the brass plague.
Yeah, having to decipher his messages was a pain but it revealed his tragic backstory on how he became a mass of tuba and flesh when simply trying to protect his king.
I'm just glad you somewhat revert the mass to a point where they're willing to join your team. Of course you still need to defeat the accordion boss first
That's the ancient brass of mass they are very similar this one was infected in tuba king 2s labs where it stays waiting for more prey to enter thinking they can end it
He only fears burn status even if he is immune to It. But fire makes him remember his tragic past when his village was burn and his family killed by the brass wizard.
This boss litterally made me puke when he made his appearences Like,what the fuck this is the most groestue monster ever made in gaming.Even his backstory is darker than the Tuba King II.
This boss was terrifying. I remember when I was like 7 and getting to the final floor of the abandoned lab. Then eventually finding this amalgamation. I know that the other enemies here were traumatic, but THIS was the one that blew the others out of the water. At the time I think I actually wet myself lol
And the most terrifying point with this boss is this absurdly high difficulty: nearly immune to a lot of effects (except Perlin Noise V), his capacity to mimic your moves each turn, his chaotic patterns (lil fun fact: I has been yeeted during the first round because the RNG with this boss was so high that the game was like "Ahahah monster combo penta kill goes brrrrrrrr"), his shocking speed and the quest to unlock him I still remember crying when I found out this boss was the fusion of our siblings during a shady experimentation of the Mysterious Maestro. Technically, we murdered all our family we meant to save (like would say a streamer on this game: "thanks Mysterious Maestro for manipulating me! I just wanted to die emotionaly today! Thank you, you super shit!")

He used to work at the electrical company and was sadly used as a test subject, he attacks via digging down with his tuba roots or whipping you with them, the way to stun him is to plant a dummy you to make the boss try and eat it, it struggles to as it’s made of plastic now you can strike him
This boss may *seem* hard but if you find "oil, the cleanser of rust" you can actually rescue this beast from insanity and he will join your party and he is the 2nd most powerful ally in the game (awakened tuba knight is no1) however getting the item requires you to beat "true brass knight" with full rust corruption meter
I normally don't try to ally with this one. He's too slow, very tanky, can take even a the most powerful attack of the game the marching band baton bash at full health but I just don't like him.
an abandoned boss, its legs sit in an awkard t-pose. not much is known about it, due to being scrapped during development but left in the game's files.
The Corrupted Fencer was locked in the dungeons beneath the String Temple, doomed to stay there for eternity. He had committed horrible crimes against the various kingdoms, and would rot in prison until he died, or time itself ended. While thinking of a way to escape, he heard a sound from the darkness. A loud stomping noise. Looking up, he saw it. A mass of various Tubas and Brass instruments conjoined into one creature. It approached him, and the Fencer, using his high level magics, peered into it's mind. Within, he saw several minds, and they all wanted one thing. Revenge.
This beast was left on its own for such a long time, as any attempts of taming it failed king tuba II, so he abandoned it, thinking it would die. Little did he know, the island he left it on was home to a colosseum, which the beast took as its home. Now it waits, trained for killing, in the colosseum for human blood to enter its arena.

The real end boss of the game, the king you fought was manipulated by this mass of brass. After snapping him out of its control he revealed that this entire time all his actions were against his will driven by this hungering abomination. It can only be fought in the true ending run where you spare every tuba boss and king; for a climactic final battle against it and the legion it has spawned.
These aliens invaded the band lands. Ancestors of the brass faction's primary units, they glide across the skies, blasting sound waves at any unsuspecting target. Possibly linked to the piano overseers.
The Tuba Knight we have now is new. The old one…. Met an unfortunate fate. The Tuba Archmage had an idea. He gathered the original Tuba Knight and the strongest Tuba foot soldiers. He would use the Holy Tuba Angels power to combine their power. The ultimate soldier. But the result….. A squirming, writhing mess. The Tuba king ordered it to be locked in the dungeon but you can still hear it sometimes. The sound of a dozen tubas playing, out of tune, incoherently… ….Screaming for help, release from their pain…
The best way to could it cacophony blast is with the guitar with the mother of pearl inlays and uses guitar string whip. doesn't do much damage but the mother of pearl inlay's add a 40% resilience boost.

If the Tube Chronicles never becomes an actual game, I’d be very sad. I’d be the very excited if it does get made. And even more so if it’s developed by FromSoft.
Omg. Now I have reacted to the picture, I shall post some lore. The Mass of Brass, also know as the Tuba Crusher and The One That Drops The Bass. The most heavyweight unit of the Tuba Legion, this hulking pile of Brass is a literal living tank, that can and will honk every enemy of King Tuba II into a crushed mess of woodwing or string or keys. Luckily this kind of unit is pretty rare, as only few Tuba People have the physical requirements to be turned into one.
This is like the stuff of music thats in my head, when im on my way to ask my boss for more money... It´s an epic battle of arguments which lead to my undeniable lose of that battle..over and over again.
1:26 gave me nightmares when his lower half starts blasting Tootaga rapidly against the floor AND moving to physically attack. The amount of shockwaves also sometimes made clearing them with a jump impossible. Up to this point Tootaga was unspammable with a long cool down.
I just didn't, no COULDN'T expect him to suddenly attack at such speeds, a flailing tuba hitting my character dead on, punting me against the wall and killing me. He moved so slow, almost crawling to me, only to show my his TRUE POWER at the end...
9th boss of the game, he doesnt move but he fires tons of bullets, bombs and shockwaves, he is level 36 and you will have to choose between blast, bullet or sound protection if you want to have a chance
While Drum and Trumpet are at Drum's manor, the servants have been fused with tubas to become mindless fighters set on killing the two of you. The head servant was at the source of the infection, and has been turned into this abomination. Will you save him from this abomination, or do you think his misery needs to end? (btw in tubacide there is no infection and you just go to drum's manor to revive a team member you killed, to progress in tubacide you need to kill drum and none of the enemies)
The origin of this boss is unknown. But it's origins is said to be from another universe.. A universe where there is rumored to be something as SCPs And this one is rumored to be a part of SCP-015. But thats just a rumor..
once one of the noble lords of orchestra living peacefully among the people and loved by all but a wizard. He exiled this wizard and his family years ago for using the magic of unknown origins with horrifying results. This wizard plotted against the lord outside the walls of orchestra and when the day came he cast a spell turning this once noble lord into a gluttonous monster even going as far as to consume his subjects. This began to show on him and one day when he finally decided to show himself in public the crowds were horrified as he had become this gigantic mass of brass you see before you now
A experiment by king tuba the 2nd in the royal labs to create a supersolider that went very wrong only one can be found in the tuba labs area can tank all your teams hits but is very slow so all his moves can be doged though if not doged it can one shot anyone one your team even with Max armour though you do automatically lose one of your squadmates here it was a sad cutsence like it just swallowed your teamate like man :( you just have to see for yourself but anyway onto stats hp 69420 atk 1000000 the max atk now def 360 stamina 69 and 720 of a unique protection stat now here is dialogue before the fight [ßö Ï śëë ťhäť ťhëřë ïß möřë přëÿ ťhäť Ï çäñ çöñßümë wëłł ťïmë ťö fëäßť] now the defeated dialogue [ñö ñö ñö ñö ťübä đämñ ïť ÿöü _&\"" 0\6 6öu SHALL P-] and that's it really
The fact that there are instances of the lick *almost* being completely played is bittersweet. It makes me happy that the piece seems inspired by the lick, but it's somedeal disappointing to not hear it in its totality. Edit: Despite what I wrote earlier, I *do* still enjoy the music.

This is a mid lategame boss. Hard to kill and hits like a truck. It was summoned by the Brassomancer which you get the option to finish off after this fight.

One of the hardest bosses in the game, slowing and freezing magic has no affect on him.

His attacks are slow, poisoning, and strong. His defence is so strong that some of the most powerful attacks in the game does just 30 damage.
This boss fight was absolute hell. Not only was his defense over the max amount but his marching band debuff skill was absolutely broken

The fact that there are instances of the lick *almost* being completely played is bittersweet. It makes me happy that the piece seems inspired by the lick, but it's somedeal disappointing to not hear it in its totality.
