Master is where it actually begins, if you learned little to nothing on your way there you ain't gonna go past 1600mp, that's why you see so many people at 1200mp

Not true I beat people that have 1000 hours plus and I only have maybe around 200 plus hours in the game. Some ppl just play to play but don’t learn a damn thing.
What most adults have for achievements:
A degree, wife and kids, retirement funds

8:58 it's from pressing Options/Start button, then Capcom Fighter Network (CFN), then replays. That way all replays are listed separately from player info and leaderboards.
Tekken 8 is the only recent game where replay data has to be deleted after balance patches, so people usually record videos of matches.

The thing is to get to Master's with any character, all you need is a 45% win rate and time.
In fairness it took him so long to get to master because he plays “The intelligent way”, which comes with losing 30% more than the morahn mouth droolers who strictly play to win.
Just in case you don't know where to watch Phil's replays:
Multi Menu > CFN > Replays > Search > Keyword Search
Make sure to turn on Input History Display so you can see Phil's inputs. If you know a bit of frame data, you can turn that on too so you can see what is safe and unsafe. I like to watch a compilation from Doody Streams (I got you) and then when he super rants about drop inputs, I just look up the match really quick to see how is he lying to us lol

Phil would get better if he just admitted that he’s subpar and actually put the time in to train. His fight streams would be the only thing I actually watched from him if he just got with a pro that could give him pointers and he stopped blaming netcode for his dropped inputs.

I would bet money that he grinded this out (yea grinded, the way SF6 ranking works is you can get to master with time not skill as shown by his winrate) before the update, because when Zangief is buffed he couldn't use the "he's the worst character in the game" excuse anymore.

I think it would be enlightening and startling to see a hard count of Phil’s obsessively repetitive behaviors. Even the baseline would exceed standards of normalcy.
His isolated, one-way lifestyle has to be impacting his neurological health. I doubt he possesses the ability to recall how many times he said something and when with any accuracy.
He does the same show every day in the same venue and co-dependently relies on one human and one cat for meaningful social contact. There’s just no way that kind of solitude doesn’t affect his psyche in significant ways. He’s not superhuman.

u cant really read too much into numbers like these when theyre around skill based matchmaking, as an example recently Imaqtpie played all roles in league with a 52% win rate to reach Challenger. HOWEVER, having a 20% win rate vs cammy is insane. im looking at matchup stats there's a global one from june, all ranks. zangief vs cammy at 52-48, this has honda has one of the most dominant characters with a bunch of 65-35s, blanka is similar with good matchups all around except for guile and e honda where they somehow have the worst matchups ever. a more recent stat person called catCammy only uses 1700+ masters/legends so phil doesnt qualify sadly which means he probably isnt good enough to react to certains things that good players are stopping more reliably, such as drive impact, either way at that level zangief vs cammy is 57-43, almost a 6-4 in zangiefs favour.
all of phil's losing matchups are either typical, such as JP, or he loses to characters that have extended strings, or tricky +0 situations that he doesnt respect and gets blown up. notably cammy's divekick, he really cant see it.

He doesn't take note of another player's style and tactics and adapt to them. He doesn't know how to play the player. Any time someone does something he doesn't expect, he cries about the game being bad cus the same old stuff doesn't work on this player.
Cammy is too fast for him. He has the reaction time of a snail on ketamine. His inputs don't come out cus he never put them in, he is still thinking about doing the move when the window of opportunity passes him by.
