If you love someone you shouldn’t take revenge on them because they hurt you. Maybe, find out exactly why they dislike you and maybe you could make changes that will make the person change their mind. Or maybe it’s the wrong time.
He must have felt so hurt when his wife rejected him when they were younger. But he grow up and built himself a good life he should have thought things are different now I’m a grown man, but he didn’t let go of the past so he hurts the person he loves to the point it almost killed her.
It was nice, he paid for her treatment and sold the house to save her life, but he caused so much distress to her. He humiliated her often and the cheating.
So the wife in this story to forgive him she must be very forgiving and must love him a lot because most of us won’t stay with someone that does those things.
But that couple shows how important it is to constant forgive one another because we’re all imperfect, but as I’ve said the forgiveness only goes so far and it’s a personal choice on how far you choose to forgive when it comes to adultery.
I couldn’t do it and I did divorce my exhusband for that reason.

What she did back then was in the ignorance and frankly she didn't owe him any date or love if all he did was stare at her pictures and not gotten to know her before asking her out.
