The entire country requires a two income family to survive and thrive.
Itâs not just Los Angeles or California.
I live in the Midwest. I have zero friends with kids that can support a home on one income.
One thing that was missed and never seems to be brought up when people talk about the speech is that kicker was talking to graduates of a Catholic university and talking about Catholic values. He wasn't speaking in generalities. Would there be as much hate for him and what he said if a Muslim speaker said that to graduates of a Muslim university?

I honestly never comment but Iâve got to say I didnât appreciate jacks remark about how a two income household isnât needed in places other than la. I live in a VERY RURAL part of the south where Iâm sure the cost of living is among the lowest in the US and my parents have both worked my entire life, Iâve not met another family where the mom truly was a stay at home mom 20 years ago LET ALONE today. It is not possible for us to live in a single income unless youâre making 100k+ and even that would be a stretch. Iâm not bagging on him I just want them to know America is a working country and you can not slide on one income anymoreâŠ.

Sure there are places where the cost of living is much lower than LA but the wages in those places are also very much lower than LA.
I lived in San Diego for years and I lived very comfortably.
I now live in Indiana and I am struggling just to pay my rent.
Lots is single parents around the country raising multiple children on a single income. Itâs difficult but can be done.
Well most celebrities whove been wealthy since birth who don't go around common folks are out of touch with common folk. This doesn't mean wealthy people have perfect normal lives and can't be dysfunctional or anything but they just don't know much about non wealthy people
I live near Fargo, ND and my cost of living with a wife, 3 children, and my wife's ESA is about $6000/month with the general minimum wage of the area of $18/HR. We both work as full-time delivery drivers because freedom of time is the one resource that both of us need 100% of to keep our mental health in check. We are not naturally meant to be filling up factories to make huge profits for someone else while we struggle to survive for a wage that barely keeps you afloat as your mental, physical, or internal health slip. And don't get me going on "mandatory overtime". To me, mandatory overtime realistically means at least 1 of 3 things.
-Pre-paid fulfillment contract needs to be completed quickly or rushed and there was a halt in the pipeline along the way that needs to be brought to current status.
- Company can't retain employees and orders are getting backed up.
- Boss wants to make a big purchase and can't/won't use a line of credit.
$6000 a month for a family of 5. Maybe rethink where the money is really going. Fargo is not that expensive. Living beyond your means no ones fault but your own.

Our honeymoon was our apartment with no kids for a week and 2 ounces of weed that was gifted. For someone that doesn't know me, you were sure quick to assume we live beyond our means. You should definitely avoid ever talking to police, ever. You threw your opinion in before knowing specifics, which shows how really capable you are of possibly making things worse.

Growing up with this family made me feel like my dysfunctional, but loving family wasnât as embarrassing as I once thought. U guys made it ok to not have a perfect leave it to beaver family and I will be forever grateful to you! I remember my whole family used to sit in the living room together and watch The OsbournesâŠmy dad watched it for Ozzy because he and Ozzy are the exact same age and while Ozzy was playing the shows on Sunset, my dad was attending. Me? I remember watching the Cribs show with the Osbournes and I saw the kids, Kelly and Jack, and seeing Kelly gave me an idol who embodied everything I stood for at that time that wasnât represented by any other celeb at that time when scary skinny was the typical and Kelly, I remember telling my friends the day after watching Cribs, I remember vividly going to school the next day and proclaiming that I saw Ozzyâs daughter on Cribs and that I thought she had THE most BEAUTIFUL, classically beautiful faces I had ever seen. I always hated the hate and bullying Kelly got because to me, she was IT! And hey, look at you now kelly! You are still IT! You really rocked my teenage world and I used to fantasize running into u at one of our shared hangouts, but alas that never happened. Probably for the best because even growing up in LA I thought I would never get starstruck, but I know if I had met Kelly when I was that age I would have been stricken into silence! I would have embarrassed and embarrassing! Iâd love it if we rubbed elbows today tho, I might still be starstruck but Iâd love to be able to tell the family in person how much you mean to me and my family. You are all IT in my heart! Love yall!
