I know Dale Chahuli’s glass work, so I was not surprised that he was Roberto’s inspiration for glass work. Roberto is a true Artist, yes it takes Math and Science to make Art, that has been my experience and I have been doing Art since I was 2-3 years old, my mother was such a wonderful artist. She just passed away 3-19-2024, at her funeral, my son’s special memory was of my mom sitting with him when he was 5, while they talked and drew, he said he was amazed at his grandmother’s drawing, it hung in his bedroom for 10 years, hopefully I still have it. I miss my mom, we took her to the Bellagio Hotel/Casino, to view his ceiling Art and Dale was their in the lobby, I was star struck, I have loved Dale Chahuli’s glass art since the 1980’s.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If you "know" his work, you would know how to spell this Master's great name..CHIHULY😏
@@misswildlife7905 I’m sorry about the spelling, I have had 2 severe concussions in the last 11 years, I did brain testing in November 2015, I learned that nouns, especially names are the hardest thing to remember, spelling is also difficult. I was a spelling Bee Champion in my youth & I word checked books for my dad as a teenager, he was a printer & he used to bring me those old wooden boxes, they used to set type, my dad brought home lots of linotype words and letters, I learned to read backwards and upside down along with forwards at age 3, so it’s very hard excepting these word issues. 7 months after my brain testing, I fell out of bed into my bookshelf and knocked myself unconscious, my husband had to pick me up and put me back in bed & clean my blood off the rug and the 50+ books that hit me in the head. I broke my nose and spent the next day in the ER, I was diagnosed with another whiplash and a second concussion. I have healed about as much as possible. It’s embarrassing and upsetting to have you type in all caps. I’m trying to stay positive. I truly love Chihuly’s glass work, I forgot to say that Dale Chahuli’s in the lobby of the Bellagio, that was so wonderful & I pointed him out to my mother.
This is great, my family and I just visited Morano Tuesday
I will never be able to afford a piece of this art.....but I sure would love to be able to❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If you love glass art you can also support local glass artist that might have work thats just as beautiful as ours but lesser known and might have a better price :) anyways a set of Murano drinking glasses won’t set you back that bad :D
We visited Murano a few years ago, it was beautiful, there was even a tree made of Murano glass.
Exquisite workmanship!!!!
I had collaborated with many Murano glassmakers around 20 years ago and was sad to hear of their recent troubles (and potential end to such a legacy.) Happy to see this new new creative initiative and hope it inspires others to enter the time-honored craft
Chihuly's glass is amazing. He is in my top five of artists I love.
Glass blowing is an art.. It's not that easy to do, I try it... So I have respect for the Master Glass Artist....
That man in the ...Gym shark...ad .. pretty good 😊💯... just my opinion
Very impressed!
Just FYI, Netflix has a TV series called 'Blown Away' that is a glass-blowing competition. You'll see & learn a lot!
Website url?
So beautifully amazing work. Wondering if they need protective gear. No gloves, heat resistant clothing, boots?
Denali National Park just had a serious wild fire, and I was just in Idaho on my way south from Yellowstone---it's hot their too!!
Not good tips.
Cute, smart and talented.❤
Great
At some point, would your team talk about faux Murano glass. Even sold in Venice. What mark proves it's authentic Murano glass
BRAVO! Very cool...But what's up with host-is she some kind of former wrestler, or weightlifter? That's one Big girl!
Great report. I love it when CBS can get into art without adding politics, because their politics always veer toward communism.
You NEVER included Roberto's name in the description, only yours....shame shame!!
Living out a fantasy.... when all around you is changing & falling apart in the world 🌍.....Makes me wonder ....🤔🤫...how someone can't survive making a living ....😮.. just my opinion
WOW something made in the USA.
I visited Murano and this shop a few weeks ago. Watching the process in person was so hypnotizing,
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it :)
