  • Learn how to sculpt a human face and head in this helpful clay tutorial. Follow along with a step by step guide, and my pacing bars will help you sculpt along me. Making a human face and head can be really hard, so I want to help you out! You will learn how to sculpt the human head, nose, eyes, and lips and make amazing ceramic sculptures. This art tutorial is meant for making realistic human faces, but you can definitely apply it making anime or stylized faces in clay or polymer clay. This is great for beginners in clay who want to learn how to make better sculptures and more realistic ceramic art, but is also helpful for intermediate sculptors.

      My pleasure! So I personally like to sculpt with white clay with grogg. It’s easy to paint or glaze, and it’s pretty mid grade clay that can stand up over time well. Any other questions?

    Hello. What clay is the best for sculpture. I use paper clay but I’m a complete novice finding my way?

    • @TheArtMentor
      @TheArtMentor  Před rokem

      That's a great question! There are many different types, but it first and foremost depends on your access to ceramics facilities. Do you use a ceramics room with a kiln, or are you making sculptures from home?

      @@TheArtMentor what would be best for a sculpture at home?

    • @TheArtMentor

      Probably sculpy or polymer clay if you don’t have access to a ceramics facility and kiln. Have you used those before?
