The first poem is perhaps the best funny poem I have heard in English language. I congratulate my fellow country woman Ms. Taslima Nasrin on her truthfulness and her amazingly restrained recitation of these poems that contain so much agony. Because of her reletless truth -telling things have started changing in this country for the better. My deep regards for her as a fellow Bangladeshi writer.
I loved both the poems, "go girl" is a challenge to the society, "to my mother" brought tears to my eyes, it is true, we take pleasures by having a parent/s out of sight, in my case, it is the morbidity which distances me. I hate this distance, it is not right I know, but which way to go?

Taslima is far more honest than 100 Muslims in a mosque. Religion is man made, when will people understand this? And start embracing humanity as their religion. Then people like Taslima will not be humiliated like you are doing with your comments below. I pray you understand true meaning of god who is surely beyond any religion.
She wants 2 stand up n pee like a man. That wont happen, n never can happen without attention being drawn to u it's like death u don't want it 2 approach but it will. We can look forwards towards improvement in the future (hope) but thats also another flaw that religion has brought up. On a broader spectrum, hope for the afterlife- originally came from religion. If you don't believe god (which is fine), u shouldn't believe in hope, hence thinking about peeing outside like men is a waste of time.
What conclusion did you draw from judgement? Why were you judging? Did I ask if you were judging? You just threw that in to baffle me. Next time when you're going into elaboration be sure that it corresponds to altercation. And that's how you view society, society is made by individuals if you think Allah is to blame for lack of attention to humanity, that is your view on the matter.
