- Ryan Parker asked me to make a video using his wonderful song as the theme. This song is very well written and captures the emotion of growing up as a Kentucky Basketball fan. If you can make it through this video without shedding at least one tear, then I have to question your love for this program.
As a lifelong Bama guy, I completely understand this UK fans. Bama football and UK basketball are the cornerstones of this conference and are the measuring stick in both sports. When I listened to this, it brought me back to when I was a kid and I felt the same way, still do, as the lyrics of this song described with bama football. Cheers cat fans.
As a Kentucky fan living in Alabama can’t deny the unmatched football tradition that is Alabama not to mention the standard that Sagan’s returned the program too. I can’t lie though one of my best memories growing up was October 4th 1997 when Kentucky football got the best of the tide may never happen again in my life lol.

I've listened to this 10 times at least.. Gives me chills every time.. I was born and raised a wildcat.. Sitting on my grandpa's lap when I was just a boy, watching the cats play.. Now I have my own kids.. And I'm raising them the same way.. They love watching UK games.. They're still just toddlers.. But I can't wait til they're big enough to take em to RUPP for a live game!!

Been a Cats fan my whole life. When I was a little girl I'd sit with my granddaddy and watch UK basketball on TV with the volume turned down and listen to my cousin Cawood Ledford's radio broadcast of the games. Thanks for sharing this!

I will never forget Cawood. John Ward said he was the greatest ever!! I remember being in my dad's truck riding to get the game in. We went to his home in Winchester, KY to see his mom, my grandmother as she made delicious Butter Cake. Oh those days!!! I love all Kentucky sports my father just liked basketball and football. The Mardi Gras MIracle, Givens 41 in St. Louie what a night. 1996 with Pitino and Smith in 1998. My dad will be gone eight years in October, I miss him. I live in Tennessee and always will and will be a Kentucky and Middle Tennessee fan forever as MT is my alma mater. GO CATS!!!

I born born and raised in Arkansas. Grew up a Hog fan, BUT when UK defeated Arkansas in the 1995 SEC Tournament Championship Game, I KNEW that was my team.................I've never been to Kentucky, never attended a UK game at all, in any sport.. . . . . BUT I BLEED BLUE! ROUGHLY 29 years later, I STILL BLEED BLUE.

I have been all over this great country yes I am born and bred here in Kentucky I do bleed blue. One thing that I have found out is that there are pockets of BIG BLUE fans in every state. And 1 time going through Little Rock AR I listen to a UK basketball game on a local radio station and it was PROUD to be apart of the UK radio network.
People can hate and spit venom all they want but to be a TRUE Kentucky fan is something that is hard to describe and even harder to ascend to. I wasn't born in kentucky, cause my dad who is from kentucky was in the military so I was born in hawaii but I have been here since the age of 3 so its all I know and Kentucky basketball is all I know. The lyrics of this song describes my love affair with the commonwealths team and it's how I know I bleed blue. My dying day I will still be a kentucky fan.

this is my new favorite song. I am a 20 year old sophomore at UK and have been a UK fan for all 20 of those years. This song reminds me of all the times me, my dad, and my grandpa gathered around the TV or radio for a cats game. I shed a couple of tears every time I hear it!
Love this everytime I watch it a little more. It's so good to have been born and raised in Kentucky, the BEST in Basketball. I know there's lots of out of staters who are KY fans, but people just can't explain how great it is to have been born into this.....................

I love this video. It's the best tribute video out. and FYI yes I teared up. I have been a UK fan for as long as i can remember watching my first game. I now live in the heart of KANSAS jayhawk territory. and im called the outcast, and every other name a person can be called. But if you walked out on my front pourch you would be greeted by a 8 foot by 5 foot UK flag that set ontop of a 20 foot flag pole. Becouse it's more than basketball were im from in Kentucky it's a way of life.

Great video! I started attending UK games free as a Boy Scout usher at the old Coliseum in 1954 when Adolph Rupp was the dominator. There have been many great players and seasons! Kentucky Wildcats are NEVER to be underestimated! I live in HOUSTON - waiting on Monday night's results and another Championship! GO CATS!!!

I love UK basketball. I remember watching Joe B Hall coach when I was a child. I always dreamed I'd have a son play for UK. Although he doesn't play basketball he is a student at University of Kentucky and I'm just as proud the tradition continues. We bleed blue!!!!

This is beautiful. I go to IU, but I grew up in Northwest Kentucky and I still feel attached to my roots, despite my new identity as a Hoosier. Although I think the word, "Kentoosier" fits me a lot better. :)
