Exploring Barkhor Street in Lhasa

Barkhor street is one of the most popular destinations in Tibet. It has been the center of pilgrimage for Tibetans since the 8th century after the completion of the Jokhang temple. It has two main circuits around the temple. Barkhor street is the most prosperous business street for locals. There are so many shops, restaurants, tea houses, and guest houses.
