For context: this was mine & my girlfriend’s first ever time competing in a functional fitness event together. We came 2nd 🥈, and would have won it all if she hadn’t lay down mid event. 😅 (*we’re still together)
This would be my husband. One time we were hiking up a ski resort in the middle of summer and I was 5 months pregnant, he had the nerve to say "cmon we're almost to the top." I look back and know every time he pulls that shit it's because he sees a strength in me that I often forget. I am so grateful he brought that same energy months later when in labor. He supported me to do the hardest thing I've ever done.
