This would be my husband. One time we were hiking up a ski resort in the middle of summer and I was 5 months pregnant, he had the nerve to say "cmon we're almost to the top." I look back and know every time he pulls that shit it's because he sees a strength in me that I often forget. I am so grateful he brought that same energy months later when in labor. He supported me to do the hardest thing I've ever done.

Yeah, I think that is a comment you make when after 1 year, you know about the person's strengths and you are encouraging them to reach their full potential doesnt mean you dont care about your partner's wellbeing; just means that you know what they are capable of! Not caring about somebody's wellbeing looks very different. It looks like when I was in my early 20s, tiling a balcony for my mom in the summer time, and to punish me for laying the mortar "wrong", she had me go out in the heat to walk for 30 min to the hardware store and pick up a 20kg sack of mortar to drag home, without water, in the blasting sun. I almost had heat stroke, and when I came home, she started screaming at me until I had a nervous breakdown and collapsed on the floor. Thats what abuse actually looks like. My mom is the very definition of maliciousness.
Went to the gym with the older guy I've been seeing. I'm not necessarily in shape for cardio, never have been. So when I was about to die he just looked at me and was like "peasant," scoffed, and walked away. I was shocked and then started laughing and got up. Made him laugh too because he was sure I'd be mad about it

Sam expanded on the clip, and while I don’t think a competition is worth winning if your feeling light headed working out as she could fall and hit her head on any of the equipment around.
