@tom132cairns We never measure top speeds as they can vary so much depending on the surface conditions.
No. The ES stands for Electric Shift. It only means that you shift between the gears using a button that electrically shifts the transmission.
ill take a look at them thanks
@Proto2011Rail The model we tested was the 4x4
@DJFIRE9 Left is rear, right is front.
Does the 2007 Honda rancher 4x4 Es have the option for automatic. Do all electric shifts for Honda have the option for automatic
even after 12 years i still have a good amount of treat on my ranchers tires what should i get for new tires
Would a 660 motor fit on it
@Lenar2541 Yes.
It depends on the overall condition and mileage.
THat's a good question....How about a set of Carlisle Trail Wolfs.
@dutchkealan
When the going gets tough, the honda doesnt cut it. No diff lock or low range, which is a big disadvantage. Quite a few times on my trails, i can barely make it in low 4wd diff lock on my grizzly 700, couldnt imagine not having either.
How fast does this atv go?
@Derek130b ittl go pretty fast if you want it 2.
its in great condition i dont know about milage yet
Honda is the best, but it takes a skilled rider to make it in any mud. It doesn't matter if you have a Grizzly 700 with 30" MudLites and locking differential. If you can't ride it then a skilled rider on a Honda will beat you. Not saying you're a bad rider, I'm making a generalization. I ride this machine but in a standard foot shift. My buddy has a Foreman-Rubicon 500 AT and I beat him every time because he isn't skilled on his machine.
would it be a bad deal if i paid 4000 for the 2007 rancher
@itsme78932 anything over 500cc in low can turn pretty much and wheels. i think its jsut your belt on that yamaha thats stopping you, does honda have that? no, all gears.
Good question.....My guess - No. I think Honda has seen the best of the ATV market and is just sitting back waiting for the implosion...
4x4 or 2x4
does AUTO mean it shifts for you and you don't do anything?
No, you have to shift it but it automatically engages the clutch so all you do is change gears.
what's the top speed?
+sadhack360 We have never tested top speeds as they can vary so much depending on the road surface.
All off road vehicles should have a low crawler first and reverse gears.
Bought one of these in late 2004 and ended it up passing it to my dad. Nearly twelve years later it never required more than the regular maintenance items. Very reliable machine.
