Im a big fan of your youtube channel. Ive been into model trains ever since i was a kid. I have a massive collection boxes full of them and accesories as well to go along with them. They' re my life. Do u work for the railroad or what do u work in for a living? I work in road construction doing asphalt paving in the state of illinois. Big shout out to u my friend from gurnee , illinois.
A little disappointed with the factory sound file used as it’s literally the same V4.0 project they’ve been using for the past 5 years. ST does have an up to date Hifi version on their site though, file ID 93414.4
I hardwired a TCS Wowsound decoder in mine. It's the most authentic gevo sound file of all decoders imo, especially when paired with a scale sound systems speaker.
Nice video……I can’t understand why Illinois Central especially locomotives are ignored in N scale. Companies will make the most obscure locomotives but never the IC.
Hi Daniel - The short answer is, you cannot run this with Bachmann's Ez-App. That interface requires a Bluetooth connection with the locomotive decoder which this particular locomotive does not have. An alternative for this locomotive is to use Wi Throttle which has a basic phone/tablet application which is free (there is an advanced version that requires you to purchase it). I have successfully used the free Wi Throttle app. You need to have JMRI software (it is free too!) loaded on a computer connected to your DCC system. Wi Throttle has developed a tutorial on how to setup/use their app. czcams.com/video/wIZ5j0lz68o/video.html Good luck!
Your very detailed and also very artistic into designing the work you do. I love your train layout. Its a masterpiece.
Thanks, Tony. I appreciate your comments!
@@ck7813 absolutely!
Nice model. I have the Intermountain version although its non sound as I missed out on these at the time as I did mainly N scale.

Can you post a link or tell me where the sound files are on the Scale Trains website?

How can you run dcc remote control on ez track?
