Greetings to all my Turkic brothers from Bashkir. We are all Turks: from the Crimea to Altai, from Sakha to Cyprus - the Turkic lands. We are all one big family, we all speak the Turkic language. I hope, I believe, I pray that the Turkic World will flourish and gain strength. The Turks of the whole world will unite in a powerful union. Glory to Allah that we are uniting and making friends, despite all the problems and provocations. As they say: water wears away a stone. Sooner or later we will be united. I believe in it.
    Long live our Nation!
We are descendants of great people.
    We decorate this World.

First of all, you need to get a very good education and read a lot. Then we need to get stronger economically. You also need to be mentally strong. If we do not educate ourselves, there may be well-educated and financially powerful organizations that want to use such a great power. Believe me, these are not well-intentioned. Study hard like the Israelites and read a lot of books.

Ahmet Demir Austria-Hungary controlled almost all of Central Europe and balkans (which they took from the ottomans). The US is huge and basically it’s own continent, they had a lot of land outside of North America as well such as panama, Caribbean and the Phillipines not to mention it was one of the largest GDP’s and military in the world, Italy under Rome conquered almost all of Europe, Middle East and North Africa. France had almost all of west and North Africa as well as Indochina and much of North America, they also kicked the ottoman’s asses in WW1 and captured much of the Middle East. Napoleon also conquered almost all of Europe as well. Poland-Lithuania conquered the entirely of Eastern Europe from Scandinavia to the Black Sea. Greece ate the entire eastern half of the known world under Alexander the great in under a decade also they too captured much of turkey in the 20th century. Also the ottomans lost twice in Viena after getting their asses beaten by an outnumbered foe. The polish winged Hussars ate the entire ottoman army’s ass for lunch. Comment when you’ve actually won a world war and maybe even recognise the genocide of 3 million Armenians which were force marched into the desert to their death or pushed into the Black Sea to drown by the young Turk retards. It’s been a hundred years maybe you can finally apologise for it.

The reason that the Türks and other Turkic nomads were formidable warriors was that they were horse-archers. A horse-archer specifically denotes a mounted warrior armed with a bow who can shoot from horseback while riding. The Turkic nomadic warriors as well as the Mongols used the composite bow, which was made of horn, wood, and sinew. The composite bow was more accurate and had a better range and rate of fire than muskets and early firearms. The tactical principles of the Turkic horse-archers were based on the combination of fire power and mobility. yhe nomadic horse-archers shot in volleys, weakening the enemy before they charged. Ideally, they practiced "fire power in movement" like modern armies.Other things being equal, the horse-archers were often almost unbeatable on the open battlefields. Against them, sedentary soldiers were often helpless until the development of efficient battlefield handguns, including the repeating firearms (the firearms that could be fired repeatedly before being manually reloaded) in the seventeenth century.

In short, it is hard to think of any other ethnolinguistic entity in history that conquered so vast a territory and founded so many empires and states, also contributing to world civilizations. The history of the Turkic peoples was an important factor in world history for more than a millennium until the emergence of Europe as the world's dominant power. What happened in the Turkic world often affected the history of China, Central Asia, the Middle East, South Asia, and Europe. One may also argue that world history began with the "Turko-Mongol" empire created by Chinggis Khan. In the contemporary world, Turkic-speaking nations form six states (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey/Türkiye) and several "autonomous" units in Russia (the republics of Chuvash, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Altai, Khakassia, Tuva, and Sakha) and China (the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region). Turkic peoples also reside as minority groups in several other countries, including Mongolia and Iran, among others. It would therefore be difficult to acquire a comprehensive understanding of world history as well as our present world without studying the history of the Turkic peoples.

Être fort comme un Turc (‘to be strong like a turk’):
This expression originates in the 15th century when the Turks had a reputation for being strong, almost unbeatable warriors due to their numerous victories. At the time, the Ottoman Empire ruled large parts of south-east Europe, north Africa and western Asia. It is said that François I, King of France, was gifted Turkish armour by Suleiman the Magnificent (the tenth and most famous sultan of the Ottoman Empire) during their alliance. When he wore it, he is said to have exclaimed: “Here I am now, strong as a Turk!”.

*The Safavids were of Turkish descent..[2]
    *As with their Safavid predecessors, the new dynasty was of Turkish origin ;
and administrative institutions similar to those the Safavids had attempted to build up were revived.[3]
*There was a real need for the Safavids to disassociate themselves from their
arch-foes by playing down their own Turkish origins.[4]

*The Divan of Shah İsmail, the founder of the Safavid Dynasty was written in Turkish,,
because he was of Turcoman origin.[5]
*The Safavids (1501-1722), two major dynasties of Turkish origin.[6]
*The modern history of Persia really begins with the rise of the SAFAVID dynasty in 1500.
Although these rulers were also Turkish in origin, they espoused the SHITTE form of Islam and established a state.[7]

*The three Islamic empires of the early modern period - the Mughal, the Safavid, and the Ottoman -
    shared a common Turko-Mongolian heritage.[10]
*Safavid power with its distinctive Persian-Shi‘i culture, however, remained a middle ground between
its two mighty Turkish neighbors. The Safavid state, which lasted at least until 1722,
was essentially a "Turkish" dynasty, with Azeri Turkish (Azerbaijan being the family's home base)
as the language of the rulers and the court as well as the Qizilbash military establishment.[11]
*Under the Safavids, the Azeri Turks came into conflict with the expanding Ottoman Turks[12]
*A massive migration of Oghuz Turks in the l lth and l2th centuries not only Turkified Azerbaijan
but also Anatolia. The Azeri Turks are Shi'ites and were founders of the Safavid dynasty.[13]
*The modern history of Persia really begins with the rise of the *Safavid Dynasty in 1500.
Although these rulers were also Turkish in origin, they espoused the Shi'ite form of Islam.[14]

*The Caucasus was a battleground between the Sunni Ottoman Empire and the Turkic Shia Safavid Dynasty of Persia.[15]

*Shah Isma'il I (1500-24), the founder of the Safavid dynasty of Azeri origin, made the Shi'a branch of Islam.[16]
*This family, reported by some sources to be of Azerbaijani origin[17]

*Three major Islamic empires emerged, all with Turkic roots to varying degrees: those of the
    Ottomans (1300-1922), Safavids (1501-1722), and Moghuls (1526-1858).[18]
*The Ottoman eastward expansion was stalled by the rise of another Turkish dynasty, the Safavids, in Persia.[19]
*The Safavid Turks, who had their genesis in a Shia dervish order in Azerbaijan.[20]
*Selim I captured the Capital Tebriz also and thus put a check on the growth of the military power of the Safavid Turks.[21]

the Turkish Safavids speedily became the vigorous upholders of Shi'ism.[30]

The first Turkic-speaking community appeared between 7,000 BC. and 5,000 BC. in South Central Asia (in today's Turkmenistan, near the Iranian border), namely Anav culture. Part of this community remained in this area until around 1,000 BC. while another part of the community around 4,000 BC. was distributed in the northern part of Central Asia and another part was distributed in regions such as Mesopotamia and Anatolia. The name of one of these communities in Anatolia and Mesopotamia was even called Turukku.

On the other hand, as has been recently pointed out, though the beginning of Bahri rule is usually dated to 1250, none of the first five sultans were, in fact, members of the Bahriyya. 32 The Arabic sources for the period refer to the dynasty as the dawlat al-atrak, dawlat al-turk, or al- dawla al-turkiyya (i.e. dynasty of the Turks), in recognition of the racial or ethnic group which predominated in the mamluk caste during this period, and to distinguish it from the Burji sultanate in which mamluks

The term 'Mamluk Sultanate' is a modern historiographical term.[9] Arabic sources for the period of the Bahri, Mamluks refer to the dynasty as the State of the Turks (Arabic: دولة الاتراك‎, Dawlat al-Atrāk; دولة الترك, Dawlat al-Turk) or State of Turkey (الدولة التركية, al-Dawla al-Turkiyya).[16][17][9]
In the obituary notices about Niẓām al-Mulk the fact that he drew his power and authority from the thousands of Turkish Mamlūks he possessed (kathrat mamālikihi; wa-malaka min ghilman al-Atrāk ulūfan) is clearly stated. See al-Athir, Ibn, al-Ta’rikh al-Bāhir fi al-Dawla(Cairo, 1963), p. 10;Google Scholar and Abū Shāma, who cites Nizām al-Mulk’s contemporary or near-contemporary, the historian Muhammad b. ‘Abd al-Malik al-Hamdānī, who died early in the sixth/twelfth century (Kitāb al-Rawdatayn,Cairo, 1288H, i, p. 26).Google ScholarFor more detail see “Aspects of the MamlⅫk phenomenon”, pp. 213-14. TheSiyāsat-nāma certainly reflects Nizām al-Mulk's personal attitude to the Turkish Mamlūks and the spirit of the time, even if it was edited after his death.
When the ‘Abbāsid Caliphs were under Buwayhid suzerainty their Mamlūk policy was not free from the pressure of that Daylamite dynasty. The success of the Daylamite soldiers in so many eastern armies is really astounding, but in the slightly longer run they stood no chance against the Turkish Mamlūks, and they disappeared. Even a Buwayhid ruler preferred Turks over them (see e.g.Bosworth, , “Ghaznevid military organisation”, p. 42;Google ScholarAyalon, , “On the eunuchs…”, p. 109Google Scholar).
    41
I have already pointed out, in “Egypt as a dominant factor …”, pp. 30-1Google Scholar, some of the reasons which prevented the Mamlüks from taking real root under the Fātimids. There I mentioned especially the fact that, on moving from the Maghrib to Egypt, much of their ruling and military systems had already been crystallized, and they could not replace, or at least replace properly, the already existing and most powerful military bodies. Another factor which I referred to there was the great distance separating Egypt from the Turkish Mamlüks” homeland, which was, in addition to that, cut off from Egypt by mainly Sunnite states hostile to the Fātimids. (The antagonism of the Seljuks to the acquisition of Turkish Mamlüks by the Sunnite al-Muqtafī must have been at least as strong in the case of the Fātimids. This, coupled with the much greater distance of Egypt from the sources of supply, illustrates well the obstacles which the Fātimids faced in forming a proper Mamlük army.) Yet another major factor was the very inadequate military schools of the Fātimids, when they had them (I discuss this aspect in my book on the eunuchs). The impossibility of the Mamlük system (with the Turkish Mamlüks at its heart) developing under the Fātimids as it should, was clearly demonstrated in the second half of the fourth/tenth century, as soon as its great protagonist al-'Aziz billāh died (386/996), that is to say, quite soon after their occupation of Egypt. That was one of the reasons why their hold on Syria was even then not strong enough. With the later appearance of the Seljuks and the Crusaders that hold, without a further military force, could not but become more precarious. Note also the military feats of the Turkish Mamlük contingent which Saladin sent in 568/1172-3 to the Maghrib (“Aspects of the Mamlük phenomenon”, part B, pp.12-13Google Scholar).

Turks are Mongolian , Azerbaijanis are not Mongolian = Contemporary Turkic peoples as "possessing East Asian physiognomy", according to Joo-Yup Lee and Shuntu Kuang, historians from University of Toronto. Turks were described as "short, with small eyes, nostrils, and mouths" (Sharaf al-Zaman al-Marwazi), as being "full-faced with small eyes" (Al-Tabari), as possessing "a large head (sar-i buzurg), a broad face (rūy-i pahn), narrow eyes (chashmhā-i tang), and a flat nose (bīnī-i pakhch), and unpleasing lips and teeth (lab va dandān na nīkū)" (Keikavus). Concerning Yangikent's Oghuz Turks in particular, al-Masudi remarked that they are "distinguished from other Turks by their valour, their slanted eyes, and the smallness of their stature". Stone heads of Seljuq elites kept at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art displayed East Asian features.[47]

Iranian Huns. The term “Huns” was also used for several tribes who posed a continuous threat to northeastern Iran and northwestern India from the 4th century C.E. Earlier research attempted to establish a connection between the different tribes mentioned in the sources, and to consider them all as Hephthalites (cf. Ghirshman, pp. 69-134). Altheim (III, 1961, p. 7) viewed the Hephthalites as the original tribe of the Huns, from which the European Huns had split off. In addition, he also assumed a Turkish origin for all these tribes (Altheim, I, 1959, pp. 45 ff.).

Modu Chanyu was the second ruler (“chanyu” in Ancient Chinese sources - 單于) of Xiongnu, a nomadic Empire situated in East-Central Asia. He reigned between 209-174 BC. As far as we interpret from the Chinese sources, at least we know that his title is Turkic: 冒頓單于 Modu Chanyu or 撐犁孤塗單于 (chengli gutu chanyu)- transliterated as “Tengri Qutluğ Yabgu?”.(The translation of the chanyu is somewhat disputed, some Turkologists claim “Chanyu” is “Tarkan” another Turkic title, it could be “yabgu”, or maybe “tanhu”- there is no general consensus). The first two words are certainly Turkic, “Tengri” is Turkic for god, and Qutluğ is “blessed” implying the bearer of the title as “blessed by the God”. (In today’s modern Turkish language, “Tengri Qutluğ” would be “Tanrı kutlu”)
We can say that the Modu Chanyu certainly had Turkic titles, so most probably, yes, he was Turkic. Back then, the region was inhabited by speakers of the Proto-Turkic language.

Love them or hate them. Turkic peoples are awesome!! My daddy told me cool stories about them as warriors so cool y'all should check the history of them. I'm a 12 year old black american girl and I use to have a Turkic friend she was Uzbek and I love the way she paints pictures of things and show me cool things from Uzbekistan. So sad she had to move to Great Britain she was so fun to has as a friend. Turkics are awesome to me.

their most elite units(yanissaries, quapukulus and ghulams), mostly consisted of captured europeans and steppe children, that they raized up to do soldiering(without having family bonds, loyalty issues etc).

SuperMrFriendly this is the most cruelty of Ottomans but also Janniseries had become most precious army of Ottomans. Its little bit dilemma. They were important than Turkish origin army which name is akinji (cavaliers from turkish village). Janniseries were used hand cannon. They were one of the most fired arm military groups of the world. (second, spanish conquistadors).

SuperMrFriendly yanissaries ghulams and quapukulus were not our most elite units. They where more elite than normal soldiers since they have no bond, but no where near the most elite. The most elite consisted of small groups of soldiers and not big groups like yanissaries. Btw these groups are ottoman groups and this kid is referring to turkic background.

    Add Ghurids
I cannot conclude this head on the Ghorians without mentioning a remarkable passage found in Janabi, who calls the Ghorides Turks, whilst they are generally reckoned to \'91belong to the Afghans; if it" is not, perhaps, to be understood, that only the reigning family Was of a Turkish origin. This passage runs thus :\'97\'93 The \u64257 rst who became known of the Ghorian kings, are the descendants of Hossain; who are a race of Turlcs, that came from Khata to the mountains of Ghor. In the sequel, their affairs prospered; and they possessed themselves of countries, as it is mentioned in the History of As-of Shah, and in the Tarilch Ulmzwader of Ahmed ben Mohammed Altabrizi.\'94 The author of the Khulassat Ulansab, who is very careful in distinguishing the real Afghans from those that are either supposed or erroneously pretend to be Afghans, seems, too, to consider the Ghorian dynasty as a Turkish race: in support of which assertion, I shall insert here a passage relative to this subject :-\'97\'93

In contrast to those Iranian officials who claim that the Turks in Iran were actually originally Persians, the late IRGC Commander Qassem Suleimani claimed that the descendants of Turkic dynasties that live in Iran are not Iranian. Suleimani claimed: "Turks are aliens and non-Iranians. For hundreds of years (during Turkic rule in Iran), Iran had no history. Non- Iranians like the Seljuks invaded and ruled Iran."74

Iran had a history, yes, Turkic dynasties used to rule Iran, but saying that Iran had no history due to them is as absurd as saying that Brits and Russians had no history because many of their kings and czars were of German origin. Even Greek kings of new liberated Greece (after Ottomans) were of German descent. And Qassem Suleimani was never an Iranian historian, he was a commander and general. His thought on this topic are irrelevent
