After rears of stop start fishing on the tip, I never realized that a siple change to a pellet feeder can make such a difference. great teaching, thank you Mr. Kerry. And Preston too

As someone who is just starting to give feeder fishing a try the part about clipping up was the most informative and easiest to understand that I've seen so far 🙏
Top angler and another brilliant video from Preston 👏 Keep up the good work!

As always Lee keeps it simple and easy to understand. Nothing difficult or complicated. Any angler can fish like this, no expensive tackle needed and on a windy day you can beat the pole hands down. Nicely filmed by Joe, I guess, and on a beautiful day what more could you want. Bill

I've just started to use the ICS system and this switching between method and pellet feeder is so easy and makes perfect sense. I always thought the pellet feeder was meant to empty each chuck....Wrong ....thanks for enlightening me. The fish get just a pinch of pellets, instead of a feeder full each chuck.....how cool is that. Thank you Mr Kerry and thank you Preston Innovations for a very informative and professional video.

Glad it was helpful! Lee catches a lot of fish, even on natural waters with more traditional feeders, by wedging his bait inside so the fish can't get it ;)

I absolutely love the ics system so quick and easy as well as it being fish safe. 1 question are you not worried about staying clipped up on the feeder with big fish by any chance

Excellent video again preston and Lee always explain's it well I don't do a much of this kind of method but will have to have a practice more of this as most matches of two or three hundred pounds are won with this style and blows everthing else out of the water pardon the pun!
Not a method I really enjoy but will have to give it a go
    Thanks again great vid.🎣

And there I was all these years thinking the pellet feeder was used over the method in deeper water. I thought you would monitor the volume of feed by using varying method feeder sizes. I would also think that in the height of summer it is almost impossible to overfeed? equally, perhaps an additional line to rotate would be the answer.

Sorry to hear you have had an issue. We have improved the tips on the rods now. If you return to your tackle shop where you bought it they will be able to get one of the new tips sent out to you from Preston HQ

The super feeder rod tips break just as easy.
We have had several guys break quiver tips on the super feeder and tyson rods.
We are in Australia so going to get a replacement tip is a real pain.
Be careful as mine broke using 15g ICM method and 15m chuck.

Thanks Dylan will look at getting some Drennan acolyte tips , as I have no confidence in the Preston tips.

This might be a silly question but I have issues when my feeder rod sometimes flys off the rod rest when I get a fish on, I’m using a magnitude 420 real on a monster x rod, am I supposed to have the back winder on or just be quicker to look for bites? Lol 😂 🎣🦆🧐

Of course, you can even use baits like mushy meat or even chopped worms and casters.

  • @AndyEmblow

Why not put a ICS Quick Change Bead in with the feeders they are pretty useless without them. The beads seem hard to find online and come in 2 sizes to make things even worse. It's a pretty disappointing product.

    • @canalboating
      @canalboating Před 3 lety

Absolutely spot on I think the product is good but struggled as to what type and size of beads I needed just ordered some online and am hoping they are the right ones
