It must be something extraordinary to see an exceptional band like the Scorpions take one of their signature classic heavy metal hits and still able to make it intense, crushing and dramatic in every sense without a single distorted guitar plugged in. Now this is what I call Acoustic Metal. Wish I could have seen this live.

Another thing I liked was the moment when the little girl sitting on presumably her father's shoulders and rocking out while Mathias was doing his solo. I've been to several classic rock and metal shows over the last 20 years and saw quite a few young children at them absolutely enjoying the music and singing along. They must have gotten into it because their parents were rockers themselves.
It reminded me of when I discovered hard rock and metal (was around 8) over 30 years ago and it gives me hope that these kids will be the next generation keeping rock and metal alive.

Yea it's kinda crazy. The solo is cool in the og but it never stood out to me. Prob cause every song had an electric solo in those days. Hearing it on acoustic was original & thus really made me appreciate how well done it is. I guess it always was tht well done.

klaus is one of those singers that is under-rated and not mention, here i am a 17 year old saying this,better than all the singers today with their autotune bullshit, klaus is one of the best all-time in my book,he has kept it so well,sounds the same then,now,live and on albums, he is up there with robert plant,Freddie mercury,brian johnson,bon scott,axl rose,lennon,mccartney,rob halford,prince and bruce dickinson..real music..so precious..
