These pitches don't have to be an accurate estimation, it could also be how much money you need invested and how much of the company you're willing to give out, besides, these evaluations don't last long, you might be worth a lot more or less in months.
and a prime example of not getting a deal, don't forget that part.

I think this is the first person I've seen where the Sharks basically said, "Come back when you have better numbers!"
it was more about "actionable" numbers. He has numbers and they're good. But they can't take action on them because it's pure kickstarter data.

Well good news everyone, the company is still up and running and he is on about a 6 month back order due to sales. Couldn't be happier for someone like him honestly.

Me too. I think what might be challenging is when I was in that phase where I most needed these as a single fresh-out-of-college guy, that price point would have scared me. But they'd make a great HS graduation gift for my nephew now.
@@rickyobannon3175 not just a graduation gift, but if it actually does what the product says it does then it's a great sheet for home usage and in elderly homes too. The workload on daily washes is huge and can be minimised.

this has to be one of the most practical pieces of technology ive seen on the show. kevin and the rest seem to be hugely undervaluing the fact that if you can sell a person on the sheets, you can sell them on practically everything else including the copper tech.
