Hello Wilma and Greg. At the rate of 25-30 L/min of water (non stop) you will need about 2 days (48 hours) to fill your swimming pool taking in consideration that the volume of it is 5mx10mx1,5m = 76m3=76000L (5ft = 1,5m = average between the side of 4ft and the other side of 6ft). Cheers!

The sun burns here so fast Greg as it is much more overhead than other Americans back in the USA have experienced due to our proximity to the equator. I laughed when you mentioned the sun in the morning. At our place in Valencia, we are mostly facing north. Yesterday, I sat outside for my morning coffee and my one foot and ankle got sunburned 😎🥵

Remembering what you said about your pools overflow to the garden area. You'll be putting the customary chemicals into the pool correct? Maybe that overflow tube might want to be extended all the way down and through the property wall, so you don't end up accidentally sterilizing the garden's soil.

  • @ChristopherKnN

    According to Murphy,
Now that you are purposely filling the pool, there will be no rain until it is completed. And, once filled, it will rain heavily for three days to test your overfill system.
I'll go with a guess of 7 days. With that municipal "pressure", I don't think a secondary line is going to make a lot of difference. It will just split that trickle two ways.

  • @A-RHINO-IN-THE-PHILIPPINES

I think the pool fill time will depend on how many times you have to shut down the fill to shower, wash clothes and flush the toilet!! Just kidding but we can’t use the washer and take a shower in our current house. We are looking into drilling a deep well with a 4 inch supply at our house under construction. Did you ever look for at drilling a well on your property? Nice job with the house.
