No matter how many times I rewatch Real and Barca from this era, it just never fails to amaze me. The vision of Xavi was just impossible. That pass from him to Ibra at the third goal was crazy. One perfectly timed and precise pass to destroy the entire defense. I just don't understand how he can see this. And Messi as always made football look easy. He just walked through the defensive line like it wasn't even there. His ball control was out of this world. But what I realized when rewatching these highlights is that he has incredible insight. He always find space to slip through or make a pass. His vision might have ben equal to Xavi's. What the hell where the defense thinking at the fifth goal though? Messi was completely unmarked. They were basically asking for him to score. As if Messi would miss this kind of opportunity.
