I couldn't find any pursuit theme from this game on yt so i decided to record it. It's not the best because it's not a full songs and sometimes you can hear it getting quiet, but it is what is.

Nfs rivals to me had the best one, and to me it was alot worse than Mw05
I love the how the music changes on how bad the heat gets.
Heat 1- the music goes along on how easy the cops are, and youre toying with them
Heat 2- they starting to pick up the pace with you but youre still having fun with them
Heat 3- is when it aint that fun and games and you got to be a little cautious if you trying to escape the cops
Heat 4- you are dead serious on fucking with the police and they are upping their tactics against you
Heat 5- shit has hit the fan.
Pretty much almost every NFS game with police chases and music was like that… Look up NFS Payback/MW 2005 pursuit theme
As far as I know, almost all of the pursuit themes in the series are like that
@@FrankHeffleyOnYT nfs payback gave me a feeling of constant tension. The intensity of the cops trying to stop you know well that they are corrupted and working for the House is terrifying. Nfs 2005 was more like what an actual real life police chase feels like to half the FBI in the country is on you.
For some reason to contradict your statement about Heat 5 the Drift Zone which goes off the freeway it confuses the cops quite easily including the helicopter from my experience using it once in my Eclipse it was hilarious, during a Heat five chase
Man...Nfs 2005 had good themes that add a lot of tension instead of being action packed and heroic like Paul linfords work. Sadly the cops in 2015 were pushovers. Other themes were forgettable to me. 2010 themes were great too and suited the pace of the game

All of them do, but Heat 5 feels like actual pursuit music. Heat 3 sounds like a Kanye beat, they all fit, but it’s still kinda weird they went for a more hip hop/trap type music theme for them

I don't understand how people are relating the heat 5 part to Most Wanted, it doesn't sound much the same. It even produces a different vibe, this sountrack is it's own kind of pursuit soundtrack, it's still pretty good
It would probably fit if heat 5 music dynamically changes. Police music tracks in MW has them change depending on your situation (if the police is near, about to get busted, about to escape, etc). Meanwhile here, its just continous

in most wanted, the music changed according to your situation (example: slow cooldown and fast cooldown). here the music is according to the pressure of the police and for me it seems more appropriate
in heat it also changed base on heat level

I love the pursuit theme, for some reason reminds of older nfs titles and has a cool and scary countdown when reinforcements are coming, man I love this game, just finished it today. It was a blast! And thank u for uploading this!👍🔥

I have a plan to record cooldwons for all heat levels. I'm playing the trial/10 hours version of the game and I still have 2-3 hours before it ends. So i'm not promising anything but i will try to record them.

Heat 1 and 5 are the best in my opinion. Heat 1 feels cool and upbeat while heat 5 feels very intense. But my all time favorite has to be the heat 1 theme especially because it fits so well in the story of Unbound
Heat 4 fits as well.

Heat 5 is the only decent one imo. And nice too. Others simply don't feel like pursuit themes, even tho intensity grows.
Although I think it fits the vibe that they were going for, Heat 1-4 is supposed to symbolize the racers being in control and wreaking havoc against the cops with little resistance. Then as the situation escalates, things become more hairy for the racers until Bam! the cops completely take over the scene on Heat 5; hence why it sounds more serious and has this glitch like reverb effect. I like it but I still prefer Heat’s because of the Bass drums, Dogs barking/distorted sirens, and that fog horn that plays when a rhino shows up.

@@sandcrakes they definitely took massive cues from MW this time. the backup timer, the cop chatter, the undercover units, the cooldown timer taking longer to deplete, and we finally have proper roadblocks back! Lesss go! Non of that stupid barrier crap anymore. They actually deploy units to block the road, and stand by with the spikes.

1 - 4 is pretty much too relaxed in my opinion
That's not even the point of the themes. They were never intending to just copy off of most wanted. That's very obvious in this game. It is nowhere near close to most wanted themes. Not even most wanted themes would work properly or feel right because cops are not a focus. You don't have 20 to 30 cops chasing you.

For some reason this is THE BEST police theme in the ENTIRE Need for Speed franchise. It's the one that best mixes the "feeling" of the game with a certain level of tension as the heat rises
I would still have Most Wanted's pursuit theme over this but this one fits the setting perfectly.
It sounds like music for a rave or some dance party imo.
@@MikeLawry1111 can't deny that but anyway, criterion wanted the music to be a mix of the whole atmosphere of the game (which is that "rave" part of the music) with something that would serve as decent police music. in all the other games, even if they were good songs, they just felt like filler songs to me

Only Heat Level 10 can definitely fuck up your day. Cops driving hypercars will definitely smoke your car.
Did I mention that the cops will still bust you whenever you are idle for any minutes or staying out of sight from them, they will find you no matter what?
@@ralphlorenzperolino3054 Oh I know, and that's why Rivals pisses me off a bit to an extent. I can't just explore the map without cop chases. And besides, the customization ain't that good. It's better than Hot Pursuit, but not by much.
@@syrexio I find the customization really average to me, best thing is they fully upgraded the Nitrous so you will be able to outrun the cops on lower heat.
Speedlists are also a challenge especially when you are facing cops that pose threats. Like literally Rivals is like Hot Pursuit 2010 on steroids, and the only way to outrun them is to use turbo until you managed to get away from them.
Not until *PURSUIT RESUMED* appears on your fucking screen. It is just a nightmare.

I prefer the most dramatic like music when being chased by police, it truly makes it feel more intense like NFS Most Wanted/Carbon Payback, even heat's pursuit theme.
Most Wanted's OST won't fit the style of this game because the police here sucks ass. In MW, it actually feels like they're bring the hammer down on you which fits the music
@@antoniodelaugger9236 Not really. It's about the same in terms of difficulty. You get 6 to 10 cops chasing and most despawn. (Let's face facts. They weren't hard) Roadblocks were about the same. And tactics the only thing missing would be actually pinning you down.
MW would immediately turn around and pin you to a wall. Here, they don't do that at all. (If they did, people would complain. Yet are ok with MW cops. So a bit of a hypocrite if you ask me)

Heat and unbound you can't really defend yourself
@KaiSuzuki Survival of the smartest. Either way, both have a different way of fighting the cops. You just have to be smart about it. (Unbound is way too easy. Let's be real. At Intense, it's way too easy for me). Heat, you can definitely go hours In a chase, just have to be smart when it comes to ramming them. They have weak spots that doesn't deal damage to you in the process.

I can’t even lie playing the game on all difficulties. For me this ain’t the case at all even on the highest difficulty in a stock Honda Civic I can still escape the cops at the highest heat level the cops aren’t difficult at all they are an annoyance which shouldn’t be the case they should feel like an imposing force as the cops just as important of a character than protagonist is. But if you can have fun with them more power to you and keep on having that fun

I don't think this suits in a Pursuit music in my opinion. Cops in Rivals we're the most deadliest and the pursuit music on that game feels really intense to me.

the problem with this theme is it doesn’t hit hard unless you race at night…..which is why i wanted a 24hr cycle of this game and not “night” “day.” it worked well with payback, rivals, 2012 MW. they can still have the night and day events to where when you go into the race it’ll automatically change to night or day then carry on the cycle
im just glad that there trying different stuff for each game

Out of all the nfs games with cops this had the worst chase music to me.
Like the music is not BAD it's cool beats.
But it's just not chase worthy.
Vs heat with it's interactive score that dynamically shifted in intensity depending on how many cops were chasing you and how fast you was going not to forget the rhino war horn when it comes charging at you.

Fun fact you can actually see a Undercover Cop before they flash you if you look closely at the world Map and see their faint Marker and also you can see when ones in front of you if you look forward enough looking for the undercover Camaro’s even if your in an S class vehicle going rather fast and if it’s the Week 2 Evo 9 Prize Car. It’ll save you from a lot of unnecessary pursuits.

Perhaps the devs forgot that pursuits are supposed to be intense.
If it's the focus. If it isn't. It just doesn't make sense to do so. If the games setting and atmosphere also doesn't amplify that, then it feels out of place doing so.

Not judging but they kinda ruined the whole like chase feeling. And need for speed is one of my favorite car games. And it's kinda going downhill, they should've made the pursuit music a lot more intense. Because it doesn't feel like you're being chased. Like need for speed 2015. It has the whole chase atmosphere. It feels like you have 3 chargers after you. But need for speed unbound feels like there's no such thing as cops. But that's all i have to say. Keep the hateful replies to yourself.
