Next-Gen Diecast Cup Series | NASCAR Diecast Racing | Round 1 - Group 1

- The NASCAR Next-Gen Diecast Cup Series is officially underway. Alex Bowman, Austin Dillon, Kevin Harvick, Erik Jones, Kyle Larson and Ryan Newman compete in Group 1 looking to advance to the next round. We hope you enjoy the NASCAR content.
Disclaimer: This video is intended for diecast collectors and race fans ages 13+.
Next-Gen Diecast Cup Series Format and Rules
24 Drivers - 3 Rounds
- The twenty four drivers will be split into four groups of six.
- Each group will run six races, with each driver starting in all six spots on the grid.
- The top three drivers in the standings from each group will advance to the second round.
- The second round will consist of twelve drivers that will be split into two groups of six.
- The top three drivers in the standings from each group will advance to the final round.
- The driver that scores the most points in the final round will be crowned the Next-Gen Cup Series champion.
- In case of a tie in points between any of the drivers, the first tiebreaker will be number of race wins. If there is still a tie, the fastest lap time will be the tiebreaker.
Scoring
1st - 10 points
2nd - 6 points
3rd - 4 points
4th - 3 points
5th - 2 points
6th - 1 point
DNF - 0 points

Why not do the world grand pri races from cars 2 and have a couple of races to get on cause I think there’s only 11 or 12 from cars 2 racers and you usally do 16 per series so why not have 4 or 5 race to get in drivers?

Thanks! It is called Hot Wheels Augmoto and Sizzler fat track. You can find them on Amazon and eBay. They are much more expensive now, though. A more economical option is Crash Racers track, but it is a more narrow two lane track. The track I used was three lane width.

@@NextGenDiecastRacing Is the format similar to the next gen piston cup series? If it is that’s relieving but there’s a lot of ground to make up! Will there be varying paint schemes or just the one for each driver? Sorry for so many questions, I’m just so excited!
@NightFury19 No worries. It is awesome that you are excited about it! No, this series will be much shorter. The Next-Gen Piston Cup was way too long of a series. This is a series with the 2020 cars. I would like to do a series with 2021 cars as well. Erik Jones would be back in that one with the newer car. It will just be one car per driver for each series for now.
@@NextGenDiecastRacing It was definitely a long series, but I enjoyed binging a large portion of it! I’m excited for the rest of this season and for the 2021 cars season AND the next piston cup(assuming we get a 2022 season, which I think should use the Pixar-nascar crossovers)! Gonna be a good year to be a Next Gen Diecast fan!

why do you cover the windows up with tape?
They are actually painted black. The glare from my lights was pretty bad. So I decided to paint them to reduce the glare.
How did you manage to get your Mag track? I can’t seem to find them selling anywhere now and I can’t afford a 3d printer. 2:20

If I wanted to make a track like this where would I get the track pieces?
I actually have some Amazon links to track in the description. The pieces used for this track were Hot Wheels Augmoto and Sizzler pieces. They can be tough to find and not very cheap. Ebay is generally the best place to look for those. The two lane fat track is much more accessible and economical. You can find those in my links as well. It is called Crash Racers.

Hello there. Thank you for the kind words! I am notbsure where to get one of those. My start gate is controlled by a remote and you manually press a button to drop the gate. It doesn't have any kind of connection to a light or timer.

@@akura2 The ones I used were the Lionel brand. I am not sure what brand the ones on RacingUSA are, but they look like they would do just fine. You could always just order a couple and do some testing before committing.

I am not currently running any events where cars are sent in. All the cars that have been used on the channel belong to me.
