@@MrArjol1 When I found out my husband had been cheating for years and had fallen in love with a married woman in another state, I listened to that song on repeat for months during my divorcing him. It was cathartic for sure. I still adore that song, years (and much more happiness) later.

most of us have had a similar experience.. deep passion and love for someone, deep hurt and deep empty sadness. All is gone and slowly forgotten. New lovers found, some leave an impression, some are blown away on the morning mist of forgetfulness.
It's like his music is meant to do justice to the emotions that come when you're drinking rum sitting alone late at night thinking a little too much.

The Professor isn't bad, I think I would prefer it without La Fille Dance at the end (It's pretty, but I like them better separate, I just think the difference in tone is a bit jarring)
Another of his songs I like a lot is the Box, but I think for me, my number 1 is Accidental Babies. #2 is this song, #3 is The Box, and #4 is Cheers Darlin', and The Professor is #5
