That being said, While I have been enjoying seeing The Rock on TV the past month, something has just been slightly off with the current story as it pertains to Wrestlemania 40...

The more I see how they slapped this story line together the more I'm convinced Punk was supposed to win the rumble.
The “smartest” fans are the ones that get worked the easiest. There is already a built in story of The Rock vs Roman that can be done at a later date. Maybe Roman getting upstaged will be a point of contention in their eventual falling out. HHH booking, for better or worse, has been about slow burns and planting seeds early that bloom later on.
The simple fact of Cody possibly ending a historic title reign is story enough to keep the match exciting. Not to mention the whole “Bloodline Rules” aspect and Cody possibly assembling the avengers to help him out.
Theres a difference between planting a story and stalling for a story.
They've BEEEN stalling for years. We know the Rock can fight Roman in the future but Roman himself is the problem and has been for a long time even before this reign
@@Kuribohchaos8 I actually agree with your first point. It’s kinda what I alluded to when I said “for better or worse”. Long Term booking can very quickly turn into “Stalling”. That was very apparent with the Bloodline after Summer Slam.
I think that people are not realising how big the jey vs Jimmy fight should play into the main event. It should be huge for the inevitable interferences. I wouldn’t be surprised if jey convinced Jimmy and maybe solo to turn on rock and Roman, In turn helping Cody. It’s gonna be great man
It’s hard to match the Rocks charisma. Roman Reigns is trying to get involved in the storyline, but he doesn’t give the same energy as Cody or the Rock.
Roman needs to show up to work at the very least

Quite literally during the press conference, the entire wrestling community saw in real time as the rock took the forefront of this storyline and roman step into the background. I mean visually the rock stepped in the spotlight in front of roman.

You know the whole reason they’re building up the Cody vs Rock part is because that’s what fans complained about? It’s gonna be bloodline rules at Mania Sunday, and the rock will be a huge part of that. You are right in most aspects, and yes, Roman and Seth don’t really seem to matter in the feud, but we’re probably getting Rock vs Seth, Rock vs Cody, Rock vs Roman in the future (or at least that’s the plan.)
I have a bad feeling we're gonna experience a Hogan/Rock scenario, where the fans cheer Rock because it's been a minute since we've seen Rock pull a genuine match and not a 10 second squash.
I think that was point. Cody Rhodes said, I’m trying to take EVERYTHING from you. Hence why he brought The Rock to Outshine Roman and put publicity to Cody’s name which will help Cody’s momentum even more. This is all part of Cody’s master plan and I’m excited.
See everyone says that the wwe pivoted on their plans but I really don’t know about that, because whenever the rock was trying to challenge Roman reigns they never showed an official graphic for the match, but when Cody finally chose Roman they had the graphic up and ready right away
Rock has been carrying this storyline more than anyone else, the fact that cody hasn't gotten on the same level of disrespect the rock has, is astonishing

No lie, I feel like Roman hasn't needed the title for his storyline in a while, but that was because his presence was enough. Now, Roman kinda seems like the antagonist of the first couple seasons of an anime, and then you find out that The Rock has been the true antagonist pulling the strings the entire time. Even the Bloodline has taken a backseat. It doesn't make me less interested in WM40, but it's very weird for your championship belts to be an afterthought. On a positive note, it's good that not every storyline needs a belt to make it important. I think Bayley v IYO has less to do about the belt and more about the story as well, so I'm excited to see this all come to a head. I just hope that Roman loses and they move on to the next part of his story. Doing all of this for him to win would feel cheap.

Let’s also not gloss over the fact that my boy Solo has faded into obscurity for no reason. Dude only has 1 title to his name and he had to vacate that title like a week later because he wasn’t an option for fans to choose to fight for it. He just feels like the ultimate background character for The Bloodine.

That's what makes me feel like this. WrestleMania is lame. It hasn't been a feud where somebody is brawling with another person every week to actually build up the feud.
They just been going back and forth saying second grade verbage to each other.
Also, nobody cares about Roman or at least I don't. All I care about is that he loses that belt by the end of WrestleMania to stop holding everybody in WWE hostage because they could only write for you as long as you're holding that belt in your only Relevant because you have it. (Like literally, nothing that Roman Reigns has done is actually relevant where you could look back and say I remember when this happened and this was fire)

I’m glad people are finally seeing this, out of all the players in this, Roman feels like a background character, he has the least interesting story out of the 4 men other than the fact that he’s the champion. He needs more one on one promos with Cody because this can’t keep going on like this
Now to be fair on Romans lack of involvement or feeling nonexistent so far in the build I feel it’s okay.
We already know what the story between Cody and Roman is really about and what we would’ve expected both men to say on the mic. If they continued doing one on one promos from since February all the way to Mania the promos would have been repetitive and stale by the time the there title match at Mania comes along.
At least The Rocks involvement as a distraction keeps it fresh to me. It savors moments between Roman and Cody by themselves to be special.

The more i think about it the more I believe Seth will turn on Cody night 1 out of jealousy cause Cody didn’t pick him to fight. Also Roman making Rock Acknowledge Him Is Already A Seed That Roman Feels He’s Getting Upstaged. But if you notice, Roman’s character is manipulative so, make rock feel so big so he can keep his title or try to fight for power of the storyline and have rock potentially choose Cody side?

1. Becky v Rhea(I expect Charlotte to cost one of them the match).
2. Cody, Seth & Drew for WWE Belt.
2. Logan v Orton.
3. AJ v LAK.
4. Gunther vs Gable(with my nose held).
5. Jimmy v Jey.
6. Bianca v ?
7. Rock v Roman
*The other stuff: I could care less about(Bayley v Iyo-not WM worthy. Same goes for anything Damage Control, LWO, Owens/Sami and Women's Tag-Team related).
It almost feels like ever since 2011 when cena was lighting the rock up on the mic wwe goes out if it’s way to nerf the roster. Roman & Rock situation in The Bloodline kinda reminds me of Nakamura & Okada in CHAOS. Roman/Nakamura were the leader but Rock/Okada were the bigger guy. But unlike Rock, Okada (while being the top champion at that time) didn't overshadowed Nakamura.
I love what we've been getting AND I wish the original story line played out. Cody gave the Rock the shot at Roman but would hold on to the championship opportunity till later. I get why the big cry fest was a thing but really wish the original story got to play out. Would of love seeing Cody teasing Roman building up curiosity to when he's gonna take his shot and then pulling the trigger and winning the title down the line. If he wins at Mania for me it won't be satisfying. JUST MY OPINION. JUST MY OPINION.

John Cena stayed on equal footing with the rock because he attacked the man at every step of their feud to remind him he’s not below him. Cody is out here be too submissive and Roman is teaming with him. The only person that is actually standing up to the Rock is Seth who isn’t even a part of this feud really and just wanted to stay relevant.

Fr I had the same thoughts about Seth and Cody the rock is coming out and cooking both these dudes and we got Seth talking about diarrhea and Cody crying we gotta step it up
Also it would have being better if Sami helped Cody rather than Seth. Sami has more story with the Bloodline and it would have made Seth 100% free for the match with Drew. Also then we could have also gotten Gunther vs Chad Gable.

I believe for night 1 Rock and Roman are going to take the W because Rock has been hinting for consequences (bloodline rules) for night 2 if they win cause they have been more focusing on rock and Cody then Roman and Cody because basically we would have a repeat of last year and could they have done this year if it was just them two So I feel it’s going to build up bigger for night 2 once we get to Wrestlemania night 1/ the week prior or the night before on Smackdown

I think that Seth and Cody's presence has been felt in this storyline although it could be better, but I think that Roman Reigns has been the most undermined by the Rock's presence. At least Cody and Seth are in opposition to the Rock, but Roman Reigns almost feels like a non-factor. As you said it feels like it's Cody Rhodes vs the Rock but where is Roman and what is his perspective in all of this? Why is he upset about facing Cody Rhodes again when he beat him last year? While that segment where he asked the Rock to acknowledge him created a good role for him in this storyline, it hasn't been revisited since as soon as he asked the Rock to acknowledge him the Rock did so. As a result there is no longer any tensions between them going in to Wrestlemainia. Roman seems happy to be the afterthought in his own main events.

I just want stuff for Cody vs Roman. Thank God we’re finally getting stuff for it. Cody vs Roman 2 is what ive cared about since WM39 and it was looking like that at RR. And to make it worse Roman is being made to look like an absolute bum and afterthought.
I've been making comments like this all over the segments, the rock is making everyone seem so small here🤣😂. It's literally like this is the rock's storyline alongside with cody and then roman and seth are just there to be there. Seth in my opinion did fantastic in last weeks smackdown stepping up to the rock, he was my favourite part of the segment😅😆😄.

Relax already. Roman vs Cody will get all the build it requires the coming weeks as Rock wont be on the show. Basically WWE wanted to capitalize on Rock for 3 straight shows when he's available, before centering the attention back on to Roman vs Cody. When it comes to Seth, im not sure what his intentions are there's a chance that he might back stab Cody and turn heel.
In the coming weeks? WrestleMania is like 3 weeks away. They've had since January to build this match. Cody and Roman have said like three things to each other since then. Whether or not the rock is cutting good promos and getting himself over, does not excuse the fact that Seth and Roman look like side characters. And they're the two world champions of the company.
