Thank you mate. Really helpful video for me to choose the right Dremel tool for me and actually see all the parts in the case. Thank you once again for sharing your hands-on experience with this particular bundle 😊
I just received this today. I was also a bit disappointed with the layout. I put the dremel, charger and Xtra bat in the bottom and the accessories will be in the top nicely laid out. To me this seems more logical 🤔 Thanks for the review.
Thanks Thank you Jimmy! It took me a lot of time and nerves to find out some applications myself. But how I have to fix the sanding rollers so that they don't jump off again and again - I forgot to fix the metal discs as spacers to get pressure on the holder - I learned that in your video. Thanks for that!
I've used mine a lot more than I thought I would. Comes in handy for intricate jobs and packs a real punch. The only problem I have is that the discs are a bit thin and they tend to break if you flex them slightly. Other than that, I'm chuffed to bits with it 👍
Great review. I’ve been eyeing one of these up for a while and really wanted to see a video exactly like this- someone going through the box piece by piece. So thanks! I first noticed this gadget after buying the Dremel Versatip (which I highly recommend FYI!) I figured I’d shell out the extra for the 5/65 because that box looks great. Although I totally agree with you about the layout. It’ll be great to see when you’ve modified it. I’m also looking at the drill stand too, so I’d love to see you do a video of that. Cheers again.
Thanks Sam, there will definitely more videos coming soon so make sure you keep checking back. Thank you for the heads up about the versatip, I will have to take a look at that. Thanks, Jimmy 👍
Great review, coming from a fellow Brit from across the pond. I was also torn between the corded and the cordless, I drive an 18 wheeler in the STATES, and also I do have an inverter in the truck, I think i will go with the cordless because of ease of use. Again, thanks for the review. Made my mind up, now I have to see if I can find it on Amazon.
Great video man. After doing a lot of searching and reading, I've been torn between corded and cordless, and also I was interested to see what the inside of the metal case was like. The case is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos on various sites! There was me thinking I could put it in a drawer out of the way...! I think the two batteries swings it on the cordless though. :-D
Thanks for the great comment. The case is big but you can store everything in it and more. 2 batteries is great and unless you are grinding constantly then the other one should be charged up when the first one runs out. I use mine every week and it's still going great. Thanks for watching, Jimmy 👍
I actually took it out from the bottom drawer and put other bits in there too. It's still going strong and there are lots more accessories available now. Thanks for watching, Jimmy 👍
Well get the Aldi Version for £20 and see if it is something you will use on a regular basis. If it is then it might be worth saving up for this version. All the best, Jimmy 👍
Can this model actually cut a circle in a piece of wood 10-20mm thick or it will struggle? I haven't seen a youtube reviewer put any of these tools to work instead they talk.
No it won't cut a circle through anything. For that you will need a drill and a hole saw. I will have to make a couple of videos of it in action to show exactly what it can and can't do. Thanks for the question. Jimmy 👍
@@JimmyTheMower I'm not sure if you understood my question or you just don't know the product. I was sure they'll cut hole in plywood or any other soft wood but, I wasn't sure how well they do it. The drill bit is actually called universal/multipurpose bit and combined with the router attachments it's designed to cut holes in wood and cut out shapes you want but, there are different machines from Dremel from corded to cordless since, the cordless model is equipped with these router attachment, I was wondering if it can handle cutting circles in said type wood or it will struggle. I wish Dremel gave out at least one of every of their models out to hardware stores and have someone display its capabilities that would solve 99% of our questions.
Did you actually read the description of what was included in the kit before you bought it ? Watching the video it seems to be that you had no clue whatsoever what you were buying. 😂
I knew what was included but I didn't know what it looked like or how it came packaged. There weren't any videos about before I bought mine. In fact, I'm still finding out what half the things do

Thank you for the video. just unpacked mine today and working through all the bits.
Yeah there are tons of bits to sort out, I'm not sure I will ever get to use them all 🤣🤣🤣
Good bit of kit that jimmy look forward to seeing it used, another great review as always mate .👍
Cheers mate and thanks for watching.
I really appreciate your support.

That sounds like a great layout and very sensible too.
You will have to come back on here and let me know how you get on with it 👍

Thanks Jimmy. I just bought me one of these kits to help me file down the rivet on my motorcycle chain and other things.

@@JimmyTheMower Sounds promising indeed. Thanks, I will keep that in mind about the discs! I am putting it to work tomorrow for sure when I get it.
Best of luck, hope the job goes well 👍

Cordless is the way forward it think. It makes it so much more versatile.
Good luck in finding one,

top review, just wondering how many cutting discs there are in that separate box please as i may need to order extras
About a dozen I think. They are fairly cheap from Screwfix and you don't have to have genuine ones.
Cheers,
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy were did you get the Ransomes mug from you have on the shelf
Funnily enough it was given to me by the Sharrocks dealership near Congleton and I haven't seen another one since.
Did you ever find out what the little metal collar was for? 16:52
I did and now I can't remember. I will be using it next weekend so I will have another mess around then and get back to you 👍
Where can this be bought at? I can't find it anywhere please help
It's available on Amazon UK at the moment.
