OMG! So happy to have come across this amazing song! This tune had remained etched in my memory as a kid in the 80’s. Thankfully, just a few minutes into episode 1 of the Kdrama ‘Reply 1988’ on Netflix I came across a brief rendition of this song! I knew it had to do with the Olympics cos of the iconic torch! Omo, straight to google and the rest is history! Oh what memories!!!!!! There is this other song I am looking for in a kiddies Programme where kids showcase their country’s culture….. children of the world.
Listening to this song again, after so many years... I don't think most realize just how much we need this kind of compassion in our world right now. Unity, standing together, work for a better future for all of mankind. Not wars. Not genocide. Instead of that, we need compassion. We need... love. This song, is written and designed to bring out the best of us, despite our differences be it cultures, religions, whatever. And we need this now, more than ever.
My memory of that Olympic song is this. I remember that there was a broadcast of the start of the Olympics in Seoul at 4 am, and it was broadcast live by Polish Television in Program One. And as soon as I heard the song, I liked it right away. And I think it's the best Olympic song of recent years, counting from 1988 to now...

Entre otros grandes éxitos fue compositor y productor del himno de Italia 90 y tiene muchas canciones de películas clásicas de los 80 como Take my breath away del grupo Berlin para la película Top Gun, Together in electric dream junto a Phillip Oakey de the Human league, los soundtrack completos de películas como De aquí a la eternidad y El expreso de medianoche y muchos éxitos de la Reina de la Onda Disco, la gran Donna Summer entre otros artistas con los que colaboró. Un genio musical este italiano. Sólo agradecimiento por toda la bella música que nos regalaste Giorgio Moroder.
Y me faltó agregar What a feeling con Irene Cara de la película Flash Flashdance y el tema principal de la película Never Ending Story con el grupo Limalh. Giorgio ruled inthe 80s

공연말고 뮤직비디오는, 코리아나에 관심이 많아지고 나서 처음보는거 같네요. 그 당시 대한민국의 실제 장면들과 열심히 경기하는 선수들의 모습들이 나오는게 참 좋고, 코리아나 멤버들의 노래, 연주 모습도 번갈아 나오면서 코리아나의 존재감도 또한 같이 느끼게 됩니다. 공식음반에 있는 녹음과 다른 연주 , 노래 버전이네요. 거의 비슷하다가 막판에 전기기타 솔로가 길게 추가된게 가장 다르게 들립니다. 공식음반이 워낙 완벽에 가까웠고 공식음반이 저는 더 좋습니다만, 이렇게 다른 버전도 있었다는것도 색다른 맛을 줍니다. 영상 올려주셔서 감사합니다.

La cancion de italia 90 me suena como a cancion de Xuxa no me gusta, en cambio esta es una obra magistral Hand in hand al estilo Vangelis y R&B contemporáneo me parece sublime.
