I had also the same issue just a advice for cross fadders play music and try to move the faddeers up and down static sound due to crossfadder damaged and needed to b changed if no sound your good to go
Adding up Deep - I would say try and buy a controller from known person like you who takes care of Equipment really well 🥰 "Genuine Seller" .
Cuz I Buy lot of Things Second hand (Mac/DJ Gear) only after I speak to a person post which if I feel he is genuine I pick it up after questioning him .
Questions like: if its serviced regularly ?
Get the Technician number whom he gets the things done etc.
Cuz I picked up one Gear which was slightly worn but after I got it serviced by his technician its working absolutely amazing.
I literally built that friend relation with him when he was trying to upgrade another gear i got it for good price .
