I have a e93 m3 6mt I recommend to follow @troyjeup on ig for s65/s85 ownership tips. I use 5w50 oil and race thermostat to keep engine healthy rather than the garbage 10w60 bmw uses that runs these cars too cold

This video singlehandedly changed my mind on transmission choice whenever I pick up my E92 M3. I was sold on the DCT because of how you can rip through gears, but the manual looks so much more engaging. I don’t care if it feels “rubbery” or notchy lol. Looks so fun

@@SVTay lol nope not yet man. still thoroughly enjoying my 335i. When i’m ready to upgrade, probably within the next few months, i’ll pick up a perfect spec E92 M3 (with a 6 speed😏)

I went from manual to DCT gang gotta admit love the DCT. Coming from a N54 motor though not a NA V8 of the M3.

I am re-learning to drive after 2 years of gap after I got my license, in a manual car.
Sometimes I stall right at the lights and all the cars drive past me and ones behind me honk at me.

I say that all N series from e9x are built garbarge compared to older r6.
@@SzymonKasperczyk well the n52 is known as one of the most reliable BMW engines (lack of power tho.) The N54 is known to make crazy power with mods but lacks reliably. So I’m not sure what your talking about the N engines being build like garbage.
@@MoHawkAnakin Exactly. My N52 has about 184k miles, less power but more reliable. Whereas if i wanted more power, easily the N54 would be the better choice 👍🏾

Damn I didn’t realize how much faster my 335i is than an m3. Starting to feel slower lately. I’m at around 530 to the wheels currently though I know the m3 would handle that power so much better I love that v8

@@juliancamano4424 Already did a muffler and cat delete 💯 also got an cold air intake which is why im pushing 205 instead of 195 stock hp
My e90 335d tuned and deleted is way faster than the m3 but the exhaust note though
335 Is nowhere near as interesting as an m3,yes you can make it faster than an m3 easy but you will never get the attention and the feeling behind the wheel of an m3 with a 335i. Great car tho. And stock of course m3 is faster,only thing is 99% of n54 engines are tuned. This V8 is cracking im getting one for sure👍
Imagine e92 m3 supercharged with A decent exhaust the sound would be unbelievable

Got one of the last ones made September 13, low mileage in the spec I wanted about 5 weeks ago. went down to London for it, love the car, was between the m4 or the e92 but the v8 sold it for me , rod bearings was putting me of abit but getting them done with BE bearings, thinking of an exhaust, either gintani sport or eisenmann race, tho this one sounds great as well
Although I love my car, whenever I watch your videos, I immediately start plotting how I could afford an e90 M3... that sound! 🤤
