    I'd say the crash was Kyle's fault he didn't use the transition lane to show Alex's crew member he was going into the pit box

    Wow! Delighted to see Sky take interest on Indycar. I just don't see this kind of well prepared interview for Indycar. David Land is awesome but he's casual at best.

    When it was over, it felt like I had only been watching an hour or soz like damn, MORE! That's always the best feeling.

      @@slackpanda3643 Yeah I know, but I'm talking about how, when the NBC coverage goes to the ads, we keep on the action with Tom commentating.

    My fave team 🧡 Pato deserved that win. I was heartbroken at the end but what a race!
    It's great that Sky shows IndyCar races, us UK fans appreciate it.

    I was there, and everyone in the stands every session was on the edge of their seats the whole time! Even at 8am on Saturday! Great race.

    Pato won in my book. If you lap the entire field, and then lose that advantage to a single caution, the wave-around rule is hopelessly broken.

    • @nickcharest2168
      @nickcharest2168 Před rokem +8

      Except the guy that beat him never got the wave around...

      @@nickcharest2168 Newgarden wasnt on the lead lap after he pitted on lap 164 so I’m not sure what you’re talking about. He also pitted twice under that caution compared to pato’s once. Under the old rules pato still had a lap on a field without the wave around. It just forces competition for the sake of it even though pato lapped the field.

    • @nickcharest2168
      @nickcharest2168 Před rokem +2

      @Elliot Keil when rosenqvist crashed newgarden was on the lead lap lol. Which was when everyone was a lap down. And that was a strategy call to pit twice to have more fuel than pato. Pato had the same chance

    • @elliotkeil6063
      @elliotkeil6063 Před rokem +3

      @@nickcharest2168 I’m confused, pato lapped the field, right? Newgarden was a lap down prior to the caution. I’m trying to say based on the literal distance travelled under green, pato should’ve won easily. Apologies if I’m wrong though

    • @xtlm
      @xtlm Před rokem +1

      @@elliotkeil6063 That screenshot there is where Newgarden was down a lap was only because he came into the pits. Pato never lapped him on track. He was maybe 7-8 seconds behind.
      Also, ovals are finicky. NewG changed one thing during that stint and it was killing his car (which was fixed after the next puit stop). Who is to say really how it would have played out the rest of the race. We will never know lol. Can't tell you how many times over the years I've seen dominate cars do a simple change during a pit stop to lose all control of the race they were running, in Indy or Nascar.

    F1 should use jacks built into the cars also. Indy Cars should be more like 925 hp and more downforce 😬
