Salam alekum regarding "Hassan the poet of the prophet"-
there is an arabic series "Sirah Nabi Muhammad s.a.w siri 25" which I am also following, and they too speak of Hassan not being up to the task of fighting the Jew who scaled the wall protecting the women and children and that Safiya (ra) was the one who went out to kill him...so it is known and I do appreciate Sh Qadhi's mention of it in this context. May Allah (swt) grant us tawfeeq bi-ithn Allah wa salam
