I’m a single dad with two year old twin girls. I listen to this vid every Sunday when I take my girls on the long slog to church (using public transport!). No matter how busy and lonely life can get, the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ always sustains me ❤
May god bless you and your wonderful children. No matter what happens, do not give up brother.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. God Bless you and your children. May our Mother Mary grant you peace and well-being underneath her mantle.
God bless you brother. I'm just curious what happened to their mother, your wife?
I'm not a dad. Unfortunately, my wife and I are infertile. Also, she has had a rare neurological condition for several years. I work full time and I am her caregiver. So, this really hits the spot. Thank you so much.
Nothing is impossible for God.
God Bless your family,
Mother Mary keep you in her mantle forever 🙏😇
Praise god for all men who have difficult vocations and do them cheerfully, humbly and with love. Saying a prayer for you and your family.
As a father of five, I truly identify with this. Maybe I should start praying more...
“Every one of us needs half an hour of prayer a day, except when we are busy - then we need an hour.” St. Francis de Sales.
I’m sure if brother Frad read this, he’d be thankful he made this video for the sake that one father and his family are deeper in the life of Christ.
Really blessed to read your comment and I hope you encounter Christ more fully in Prayer, Word, and Sacraments.
@@Efren_G I don't think he ever actually said that. Good quote though!

New dad here. Can really relate, especially with me studying to pass my occupational therapy board exam. Please pray for me brothers, and I will pray for all of you. We may all be tired and even struggling, but if we stick it out then one day we will reach that sweet and blessed country where can finally rest. God love you all.
I miss you Dad ❤. I really do. Please protect me from above

I walked my youngest daughter down the isle one week ago. I often sit just as depicted with my candles on and my statues of the Blessed Mother, St. Michael, and of course our dear Lord. Hang in there young dads. Call upon His name and rest assured He is with you... no matter what.
Young dad here (2 year old and 2 month old) wishing that fatherhood was less "hanging in there" but that's honestly what it feels like 90% of the time. My toddler won't listen to me when I use a kinder "more patient" voice, and yelling at him both upsets him and exhausts me. Explaining to him why helps a little but have to do it over and over and over it's like what it tell him gets wiped out every 5-10min. Any advice or is it really just "hang in there" until their brain develops a better understanding of there are certain things I can't or shouldn't do?

Father of three under three years old. Love this. Love being their dad. Thank God. All glory to God. Bless my own father who I never appreciated the way he deserved to be.
Me: This will put me to sleep

Good night everyone…may God keep blessing all of us
that moment when:
you, a dad: "alright kids, I'm turning in for the night."

Wife and son are asleep now. This captures the feeling of those small times when I get to reflect on my own. Kyrios Christos.

@Mark Todd
Sorry I forgot this comment.
I know what this argument is leading to. It's the "he asked his apostles to go to different nations" , no he didn't. The apostles weren't even looking for gentiles the gentiles came to them instead. They were fascinated by Jewish culture and god fearing this surprised the apostles like paul
@Mark Todd
1: see just like said you brought up the cliche hearsay argument. Again apostles weren't looking for gentiles the gentiles came to them because they were curious of Judaism.
2: "final words" , from what I heard this was after his death? I called this hearsay because theres no written records of his life or him saying these things.
3: the old testament prophecies was more about the state of isreal than a messiah figure. The term "son of god" is a common title back then for those who had a special relationship with god for example Angels, pious men, king David, Solomon, and isreal itself.
4: there's a lot of things mondern Christian gentiles gotten wrong from the old testament and Judaism. For example the "war on heaven" is not a thing in the old text. Demons or Shedim (the correct term) are supposed to be decedents of the evil serpent that tricked adam and eve. Also the war in heaven could have been inspired by old pagan religions like norse or Greek mythology. The fallen angel concept could have come from the book of enoch when the watchers lusted after human women and even taught humans things that only Angels and god knows like makeup, weapons, etc.
@@happymate8943
I will end this discussion right here and now, any more words from Happy Mate will just be attempts at missinterpreting the actions of God; perhaps not on bad intention, but as St. Peter once said, talking about Paul. 2 Peter 3:16
He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction
Let us refer back to Jesus's words on Luke 4:25-27:
I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. 26 Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. 27 And there were many in Israel with leprosy[a] in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed-only Naaman the Syrian.”
Conclusion: For one to be worthy of salvation, it is not needed to be Jew, Gentile, Black, White, it is only needed to be just and humble above all else.
Period.
Can the next one be a mom rocking her baby to sleep in a beautiful Catholic nursery or in front of a prayer corner like the dad pleeeeeease? Thank you all for the work you do

I've started a nightly ritual - after my sons are asleep but before I go there myself, I drink a beer and I pray. I drink the beer to celebrate the end of a day and to help drift off to sleep. I pray in thanksgiving for the day I was given and in preparation for the day ahead, that I might wake to see it and be who God has called me to be in that day. This music helps me focus quite a bit in my nightly prayer. Thank you for all that you do, and may God continue to bless you.

Just wanted to say thank you. My family and I are currently caring for my grandma in hospice after she had several strokes. She is not responsive, but we believe she can still hear. It's what will make catholic lofi stand apart, more importantly, how is it "Catholic" lofi if it doesn't have a bit of our Catholic Traditional embedded into it?
The way this evokes the mundane and the divine together is splendid. It's like the Lofi is every day things and the Chant is transcendent worship, coming together to create a sense of praising God in the midst of daily life. Simply beautiful!

10:23 - Kyrie Eleison
14:12 - Dies Irae; version: Solesmes
18:05 - Lux Aeterna - Communion hymn for Requiem Masses
22:19 - Sanctus;
26:32 - Domine Jesu Christe (Mass for the Dead, Offertory)
30:56 - Agnus Dei
35:30 - ?
40:00 - Introito for Requiem Mass - Requiem Aeternam I
43:43 - ?
47:34 - Dies Irae once again, but the last half now.
51:05 -
55:49 - Preface from Ordo Missae
It's really incomplete, I'll keep editing once I find more chants.
10:23 - Kyrie Eleison , is the name of the author but not of the song? anybody knows it?
@@petal9547 Kyrie Eleison is the name of the prayer: it's greek and stands for "Lord, unchain us/set us free" (though the prayer is usually translated as Have Mercy on Us).
It's a really old prayer, and several melodies have been created, the early ones are called gregorian chants. So they were written mostly by groups/anonimous monks, we can't pinpoint an author for most of them.
Instead, the melodies are differentiated by use, meaning, the kind of Mass they were composed to. We have the Orbis Factor (for sundays most of the year), de Angelis, for II Class Solemnities, and it goes on. All of the chants contemplated hete that I could recognize come from the Requiem Mass, or Mass for the Dead, so I put this before the list in order not to reapeat it everytime; I think this is the easiest way to locate the chants when searching on the Internet, just adding requiem.
@@annakareninacamara6580 Thank you for your elaborated answer, I appreciate it. I really liked how the instruments suited the prayer on that one. I found the Requiem Mass Kyrie Eleison but without the instruments playing on top of it. It's beautiful anyways.
