William, this is amazing. I think I might have asked you before, but I would love to see you play The Kings Gambit with how you play. You would be able to get so many Brutal Mayhem Attacks. I just had a Game where I sacrificed 7 times! ha.
Yes I certainly would!! Very likely you get some exciting lines where you have out-prepared your opponent :) Make sure you’ve studied the theory, and have practiced playing it online first. Let me know how it goes!
Love your Busch-Gass gambit prep! Makes me excited to play black again if I don't get a Stafford. One thing I've found is that white opponents will just castle long upon seeing your invitations to gambit pawns in the centre, so I've started playing Ng4 on move 4, pretty much forcing them to castle, which also has the added benefit of enticing them to play h3 and then pin the knight when it moves back, which then launches straight into a beautiful kingside pawn attack using h3 as a hook. Would be interested to know what you think of the lines that arrive out of this, I've had many successes, and it's a much more forcing line for all those deniers.
NoOooOoo0Ooo dude, you "killed" Etienne Bacrot ( Baki83 ) with this gambit ? No way ! He is one of the best french players. He became a GM at 14 years old and is strong as hell. Gambits are tricky. ( but somehow I can't make them work for me ).
Haha yes you are absolutely correct, I did miss that. Was just trying to show the example ideas more than any specific position though. Good catch and thank you :)
Is there a full lichess study or just one line available? Awesome video, I was going to give up on BBG because "everyone" always denies it and I didn't know how to punish it...but I think I'm back :-)
Yes, lichess study in the description :) lichess.org/study/ffhmxOxi And the original BGG study: lichess.org/study/0JdXDBuf So glad to have you on Team BGG, best team ever! Will continue crushing with it on www.twitch.tv/wgraif and uploading here :)
0:17 3 Nxe5 Nc6 OK, but how do you then respond to 4 Nxc6? or to 4 Nf3? Rather a bold claim, that Stockfish is wrong, this early in the game. You provide several thumbnails, including some for 3 c3 and 3 Bc4, but none for 3 Nxe5, so I must now give up your video for not thumbnailing 3 Nxe5. This is, after all, White's best option in the position.
Hey, good question! As mentioned, you should check out the original video for Busch-Gass accepters :) for how to win against Stockfish's favorite lines! czcams.com/video/4BFotPUoeN0/video.html (In particular for 3. Nxe5, the following timestamp: czcams.com/video/4BFotPUoeN0/video.html ) This particular video was dedicated to Busch-Gass deniers.
You’re right! I missed this, as I addressed in other comments actually, but it wasn’t a concrete line or anything and I just wanted to demonstrate the example ideas for black there :)
What is the recommendation here? This is so unbelievably convoluted. What level player is this entire video intended for? GMs? "We've played *unprincipled*"?? Good Lord, how is your typical competitive recreational player supposed to remember this mess?
This completes my repertoire, going to start playing this OTB
How's that going?
I used to despise gambit deniers. Now I love them.
Amazing video! You did a great job at getting me all hyped up in the beginning lol

Good pacing, very valuable information
Busch gass gambit: the gambit that can go to traxler, stafford, or it's own opening. the best opening for black after 2.Nf3
Damn right
Nice… it blows my mind what good moves like to different level players
mr graif would you recommend me playing this in a 10 min game in a tournament coming next week?
Yes I certainly would!! Very likely you get some exciting lines where you have out-prepared your opponent :) Make sure you’ve studied the theory, and have practiced playing it online first. Let me know how it goes!
Wow the ending is great
People are already gifting me free bishops on the kingside with opposite castling out of this opening. Nice stuff

That GM you beat in 7 moves was Etienne Bacrot! Amazing

William, your enthusiasm is infectious, but at the 37.48 mark did you miss white queen captures knight on f6?
Haha yes you are absolutely correct, I did miss that. Was just trying to show the example ideas more than any specific position though. Good catch and thank you :)

Muy buenas lineas.gracias FM William.Saludos.
Whats your favorite gambit to play as white?
Do you believe chess should speak for itself? Or would it be better for it to get a lawyer instead?
If I speak, I am in big trouble. That’s why the chess will speak for itself!!
Lol

Why I don't study openings - opponent refuses to take pawn.
Isn’t there a queen takes knight blunder at 37:45?
Can you do a video on how to play the king's gambit bishop's gambit?
At 37:45, why would White play hxg4 and not just Qxf6?
You’re right! I missed this, as I addressed in other comments actually, but it wasn’t a concrete line or anything and I just wanted to demonstrate the example ideas for black there :)
I find many opponents moving 3. Bc4 then 4. Nf3. How should you continue in these situations?
😂 go William

Do you want him to come to your house to play the moves for you?
@@phosferrax this doesn't answer my questions or make any sense. I see the moves in the video, idiot.
