    y'all gotta stop being so mean to these dads. the only dad who seemed "whitewashed" was samuel, the other dad's just happen to know english but they do seem mexican as they can be. my dad speaks fluent english and hes still very mexican, don't judge others yall.

      I'm just a black American but the thing is...I think white washed is being wrongly used in this sense considering many Mexicans already have white ancestry. Why not say Americanized? It makes more sense and you don't have to be white to be that..and you are right they shouldn't bully them.

      90% of Mexicans have some percentage of Spanish blood, and the Spanish are Caucasian(white) Southern European...many even look as white as a English person

We Mexicans are also Americans in the sense that America is the whole continent, not just the US. So “americanized” might not be a useful term either. Remember, America is also home to people from Argentina and Chile to Tijuana.

    Not a mexican here, but i grew up in AZ for awhile and my neighbor made carne asada by marinading the meat in a can of whatever beer you like. Then you grill it up, and while the meat is resting, hit it with tajin, onion, and cilantro, and mix it all up nicely so the meat absorbs all the flavors while its resting.
    Not going to say it was the best carne asada i've ever had, but it was definitely super tasty, and easy to make with very little clean up.

      Guanajuato. My family (and the people in the pueblo) sazonan el bistec con Limón y sal and as simple as it may sound, it’s actually perfect. It’s a bit dry but it’s not cecina type of dry. With or without salsa, it’s really good.
