  • Rwandan forces have helped Mozambique's army recapture the key northern port of Mocimboa da Praia from an armed group.
Known locally as al-Shabab, the rebels used the port to launch a series of attacks across the oil and mineral-rich province of Cabo Delgado.
Thousands of people have been killed and hundreds of thousands displaced in the past four years because of these attacks.
    Al Jazeera’s Catherine Soi reports.

@Dan Mburu As a Kenyan your stupid and don’t understand warfare these rwandan soldiers are elite and very disciplined a powerful force remember it doesn’t matter about size. If your army is corrupted it’s weak and sick. No moral no pride. Rwandan soldiers don’t have room for such hence why they’re always successful in missions. Dan Mburu understand warfare. If the Israelis weren’t disciplined they’d have been over ran many yrs ago they have less numbers but there intellect in modern warfare is up there. Same with Rwanda In Africa. You say “as a Kenyan “ as if you belong to an elite experience brigade go back to school and stop hating on your brothers.

Rwandan military is arguably one of the most disciplined in the world, they are also modernizing their equipment really fast.
    They are battle hardened.
Tanzania on the other hand has better finances, but they have not been investing in their military, they are slow on upgrading their aged equipment. Still soldiers carry Ak 47. Also as it has been pointed out their soldiers take "hongo" and a lot of "pombe"Tanzania would win against Rwanda purely on numbers and better acces to finance but for missions such as this i would take the Rwandans.

      It isn't happening.
Considering how easy those AL Shabab Somali would be able to blend in in Rwanda, we don't want bomb all over Rwanda cities.🤣🤣

Today the Somali government is fully restored & can operate peacefully. Turkey only came in after Kenya & Uganda restored Somalia. The Turkey cowards couldn't even dare take in Somali refugee during the war 😂😂😂. Somalia was restored by Kenya, Uganda & Ethiopia.
