Not uncommon to wake up to have a couple of Quokka’s inside your board bag down by your feet happily hogging all the warmth. One cool fact about the Quokka - fully protected not just by law but if you harm them, in anyway tiny way, waiting for you back on the mainland will be the entire population of our capital city ready to greet you and serve justice back for the defenceless Quokka...🙂

I went to Rottnest for my year 6 school camp for 2 days, and I remember in the free time we had all I would do was sit with a quokka. I even found a baby one and it was so tiny.
I see baby toads where I live. They come out of no where too. They just like chillin in my backyard. From the corner of my eye, sometimes I just think they're bugs. But if I get a good glimpse of them, it's like whoa those things are tiny. Sometimes, they're other sizes. I only see baby snakes on pavement...oh, & I don't live in Australia. But I do find it fascinating to see how other ppl live. Like this is your norm. You prob don't even think that much about it. Me watching yt: yeah, I'm pretty sure I've never seen anything like that before. A rat/kangaroo mix exists? It sure is cute tho. Those little hands 😍🤗
