Im really enjoying these episodes you’ve been putting out :) good to see that you’re happy exploring youtube without feeling pressured to hit the numbers, do what will get the big views, stay in the fashion niche for example etc and be ok just figuring it out and trusting the process. I haven’t watched all of your vids, but I remember being in awe of your fashion content a couple years ago, but I recently came back right before the first ep from this series and these vids are by far my fave content of yours. So real and kind of wild the way it’s touched and influenced me. The bit from your ep on forgiveness inspired me to declare internal forgiveness which surprisingly made such a difference in navigating my own spite and anger. And love the idea of approaching CZcams with the tv show season concept… I may try that 🫶🏻 thank you for being open and for sharing such real sentiments, even when it’s daunting. Agree with a comment I read below that said this kind of content from you is what got me to finally subscribe and I think even if they don’t hit as hard (in terms of numbers), I think it really allows for meaningful connection and appreciation ❤

As a creator who spent 3 years posting every week, I understand how burnout can affect you and how hard it can be to get back to where you were. It takes time and I'm learning that you need to work on what's best for you and take it one project (be it a blog post or video) at a time and not put too much pressure on yourself to reach the points you were once at

I’m an older girl (aka as an old lady LoL) and I walk a fine line between isolating and taking whatever time I need to perform Self Care. i’m a ‘20 grad from your school and I’m also in my flop era :) it’s not even that bad! life goes on, we strive and we move into new things. i’m gonna prioritize my wellbeing and my friends and family now.

I was watching this documentary in Netflix about influencers. And reminded me that once upon a time i was hustling to be just one to be able to stop workingas a bedside nurse. I am sooo exhausted with my job since after pandemic. But then I realized that my service oriented job allows me to feel important and valuable and would not require any validation from the outside. It gave me this feeling that I have this role in the society to make people feel better when they are sick. I am still looking for another job other than bedside nurse cause I am sick too and wont get better. However, given the chance, i will not change a thing in this part of my life where I stick to nursing no matter how horribel and mean it is to us caregivers.

it must've been hard to share this, but I think shattering these illusions that our favorite influencers aren't in the same existential crisis boat as everyone else kind of puts our minds at ease.
it's comforting to know that nobody needs to have their life together all the time and we don't need to know what we're doing. what's important is that we keep trying until we find something that speaks to us, but it's also important to realize that since people constantly evolve and change, "what speaks to us" will also change too.

I am glad I watched both and will watch more. For me, I want to make a difference in some way for my viewers. So many CZcamsrs in my current niche made a difference for me. Paying it forward brings me joy. You are right, when you can make it about them versus you, it can give you a sense of purpose. I hope you continue to create videos that resonate with your passions and with your viewers. Be authentically you! Strive to be the best version of you that God created you to be! I think that a lot of successful CZcamsrs who do more than fashion and lifestyle use a different common denominator in their content goals: "you". I'm not nearly as successful as you, but I think "How can I help you the most? What will provide you the most value? How can the information I provide and the experiences I share help you to trust me?" That's been keeping my fire burning and I don't see it burning out any time soon. I know that you already love and care about your audience, Kaiti (hence also standing out among other fashion influencers), so if you reframe the thinking, perhaps you'll be happier creating on CZcams :)
