How funny, I was just at the Promanade this past Sunday with my hubby specifically to go to Hennessey and Ingalls and saw that it was closed. Didn't see any signs about them moving so we automatically thought that they went out of business. Then I see this today :D Thank you for the info and for a wonderful layout!

I scrapbook, but my style is changing to be more simplified and like your style about journaling it in a travelers notebook. I have said this before, if you ever have a meet up in Pittsburgh when visiting let me know!

Hi Amy, I have been wanting to try a travelers notebook. I was going to make one but I'm waiting for the new Webster Pages to come out. I love the one you showed in one of your vids. I live away from family and friends, so when they come for a visit I think using a travelers notebook will help document their visit. Right now I have all these photos from the last four years of company that I haven't done anything with. 😊

I haven't been to the bookstore you went to - not sure if it's the one that sells vintage books and architecture books and if so, it didnt seem so fun :) but I'll look for the one in the vid. I usually go to B&N and Paper Source and then times up because I'm trying to beat la traffic, but yes everyday moments should be remembered and can be fun.

I love your video, so I have got a travellers notebook and I'm new to this but I just don't know where to start first. Any tips ? Also I am going to Disney Paris in September I plan on putting memories of my time there into my first travellers notebook. I have seen your Disney trip vid which is great but I will be away for 6 nights. do you think it is best to do my travellers notebook when I get back home rather than while I'm there? I don't know how you all do it. Thanks.
Aww, thank you! It can be overwhelming so I encourage you to just start and create with what works for you! You can probably tell that I don't really have many rules for myself in my Traveler's Notebooks - the process should be fun and enjoyable. I prefer to do a little while I am on the trip and the memories are fresh. You can always fill in when you get home too! Get creative and enjoy the process!! Remember, done is better than perfect.
Love the project. I have a question about the selfie printer. I have one too and my prints always look washed out. Am I doing something wrong?
+ScrapandPlanwithLea So I have noticed that if the photo is slightly darker it works better. You almost have to use an unedited version to print properly. Hope that makes sense. I found my preference is brighter photos, but when I used those the pics definitely looked blown out. On the flipside, it can't be too dark either. Try that and let me know if it gets better!
Does your Fiskars trimmer cut straight? Is it very accurate? I've bought the same one twoce, and neither cut straight from the get go. Not sure what's wrong. would love anyone's help!
+Sarah Hall Mine does cut straight. When I have shown people how to use it for the first time, sometimes the arm doesn't come all the way out and flush. Just make sure that happens and your paper is all the way butted up against that bar. Sorry you're having issues! Fiskars is an awesome company though, so if you're still having troubles you can probably just exchange it from where you purchased it. Also I replace my blades quite often since we use ours a lot. But it remains my favorite trimmer for sure!
