- This is the piano accompaniment for Johannes Brahms, Sonata for Clarinet (or Viola) and Piano, Op. 120, No. 1, I. Allegro appassionato. The tempo in this video is ♩=110 at the beginning and ♩=75 at the sostenuto ed espressivo section. I tried to play without tempo changes. This video is provided for those who wish to learn the music and practice it before rehearsing with an accompanist.

You are my complete saving grace. Thank you so much, you have recored all of my grade 8 pieces, I’ve recommended you to all the players I know!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!! I’m sorry about your mom, if I subscribed to you when she died I would’ve offered you my condolences then, it’s a horrible thing to go through.
Oh my god, I was going to do this myself, but I'm not a professional pianist. This is unbelievable resource for clarinettists!
Thank you so much! Please enjoy!
Thanks for do this whole video. I use this video to practice the piece in my flute version.
Thank you so much! I didn't know there is a flute version!
@@coloristhepiano3707 Yes there is a version. I am just reading from a violin version. If you want to listen a record search Karl-Heinz Schultz. czcams.com/video/neGaYnDnrTc/video.html

Thank you so much for this piece of work! Wonderfully played and so helpful also for playing it with Viola! I was missing a piano partner and used the Andante movement... would be so great if you could even play it with speed changes according to musical taste... ❤
this is perfect! i've looked for recordings to practice with,l nad everything i have found is unstable and takes rubatos at places where i don't. so, when i found this, i knew this was perfect to practice with! thank you so, so much for this video!
Thank you so much! It means a lot to me. Please enjoy!
You really helped me to pass my ATCL! Thank you!
My pleasure!

Thank you so much!
Thankyou so much! I wish I could play clarinet as well as you do piano but it's great to have this resource!
Thank you for your comment.
Thanks! Will you have the piano accompaniment of the Walton Concerto for Viola?
Thank you for your suggestion!
Hey! Can I use your video to publish playing the viola with me on my channel?
I think Mr Pearlman can play that on his Stradivarius because Brahms also transcribed this piece for Violin
Thanks for everythink, please record Rigoletto Clarinet Fantasy too 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Please send me an email for the request pieces. coloristhepiano@gmail.com
How long does it take you to learn a new piece, like a big piece (accompaniments)?
It depends on the piece. Thank you!
Nicely played - thanks. There are a couple of points if you do this again. The coda at the end needs to slow down its far too fast. The clarinet can play very softly and as such there needs to be more dynamic contrast.
Thank you so much for your suggestion!
You make me sound so much better hahaha
I am so happy to hear that!
