CVS2:EO on Game Cube is one of the best fighters for the console. Its a real treat to have a fighter in 480p with some nice upscaling.
Capcom vs. SNK 2 is my favorite fighting game of all time and I would love a remaster or sequel
I dunno. I like 2, but1 is the goat for me cuz it got things rolling. 3 grew on me from playing the bro. The last one was...interesting, and I'll just leave it at that. Honorable mention to the one had the G-force, Capcom v SNK, Capcom v Tekken, etc. I wish Capcom, Konami, and Marvel would come together to remake the old X-Men arcade game that was suppose to be for the predecessor to X-Men '97 prior to the show being overhauled to what we all know now.
We need Capcom vs. SNK 3 so bad 😩
We need one only after SNK has a successful launch 🚀 and or after they step up their marketing. I need it only with maximum budget behind it. Not just wanting a new game for the sake of wanting a new game because there hasn’t been a new one. Garou 2 needs to be a hit when it releases

If you were not there, you couldn't have believe how much of a dream come true these games were. These games and that time period represented the peak of 2D/arcade gaming.

Interesting to hear about these, I hadn't realised that there were so many with such variety.
I remember being put off the first game when I found out the Capcom side was just Streetfighter after how much I'd enjoyed the characters added in the Marvel vs Capcom series.

Bro wtf are you talking about? Back in the 90s if it was something we cared about we’d read the entire article. That’s actually how we got almost all of our information on something. That and having friends who were into the same thing.
The only reason somebody wouldn’t read an entire magazine or newspaper article is if it was a subject they didn’t care about.
Think about it. It’s not like we could’ve just googled it or looked it up in an encyclopedia for information about a video game 😂

49:51 Imagine if SVC CHAOS did get a North American release, but only to be bundled with another game. If we were in an alternate timeline, the PS2 and GameCube would have gotten SVC CHAOS bundled with Capcom vs. SNK PRO, and if Sega kept supporting the Dreamcast to the fullest until 2007, they could get the combo pack and Dreamcast port anyways. However, it's all too late. The best option for a modern re-release would be through a Capcom Arcade Stadium or SNK Arcade Classics compilation.
Not only that, I believe the policy refers to 2D games not being worthy of being sold at full price. Compilations of 2D games were the way to get North American PS2 releases of most 2D games. Examples include the Metal Slug 4 & 5 combo pack, KOF 2002 & 2003 combo pack, Street Fighter (15th) Anniversary Collection, Vampire Darkstalkers Collection, Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, NamCollection, Capcom Classics Collection 1 & 2 and KOF Collection: The Orochi Saga comes to mind.

Morrigan was so nerfed. She is missing so many animations.... Also a dream game would have 3 person teams like Team darkstalkers: Morrigan, Dimetri, Felicia. Team Alpha:Sakura, R.Mika, Dan. Team Final Fight:Cody, Guy, Maki. Ect
If we can get The King Of Fighters and Street Fighter crossovers still a Capcom vs SNK 3 has to be a guarantee.

1:01:34 I thought Street Fighter 6 locks online play and the entire roster, causing Create-A-Fighter to be the only fighter playable on a new save file. Not only that, the character roster would increase if you let the main SF6 characters join your World Tour party.
