I have the exact model, on mine the tip over feature is internal with a weighted mechanism. If I lift it up it will not turn off, being there is no bottom tip over switch. They must of revised this unit recently.Mine is about 4 years old.

FYI if anybody sees this comment and has this exact model heater like I have don't use the high setting use the low setting because even in a small midsize room you can get it to nearly 80° in there on the low setting and you're gonna be sweating bullets in the morning I have done that because my windows are quite drafty in my three bedroom condo and I easily solved that by just plugging one of these in whichever room my occupied and that was it comfortable all night until I woke up sweating bullets because of how hot it got in the room

Does this heater have metal or plastic blade, because heat and plastic don't go well.
I had one with plastic blades and they would melt plastic string off of it.
