Mine has negligible to zero noise floor. Probably depends on the power source or maybe I just got lucky. I think it's excellent, especially at its price point. Doesn't seem as it being meant to be portable. Works very well as an at home preamp
Glad you like it and using it with "normal" earphones the noise floor is not really an issue.
