@Jack Crimson I think(but I'm not sure) its about a guy who's manipulating a guy and making them think they're "going to go far," but they really don't believe in them at all, and they never actually had any chance. Its about a manipulative person, not a hero. HOLY FUCK SAME!!
This song makes them worse for me :I
I just randomly came across this and 2023 and I’m still mad I didn’t find it before
this is the one song i need everytime i have a hard time
I understand your difficulties, but I know you will deal with them, because after all, people were born not to despise other people, but to help each other in the most difficult times.
I fucking love the lord of the flies quote. This whole song is based off of that book. It’s amazing that he read it in high school like I did. And it also had such an impact on his life that he wrote a song about it. It had a huge impact on my life as well.
Blueprint Walsh I read the book. And kept listening to the song. But I missed the Lord of the flies reference. What is it?
@@robinosher3266 well he litterally says Lord of the flies at 2:41..
Okay woooooooow I didn't know that (wasn't paying attention to the vid) Thank you for your comment!

Comin back to jam to this gem 15 yrs later 😂🤙
Omg it reminded me of my mlp era
This song is the perfect definition of old is gold .
Probably can’t drive the speed limit to this song
You should perhaps avoid listening to thrash metal while driving then. (I know this videos song isn't thrash metal so no need to tell me that. K-tnks-bye)
@@barklordofthesith2997 in reality this song is pretty tame for the Offspring. But to edgy youngsters who know nothing about the band, yeah, this might be their introduction.
@@ecoRfan Was more along the lines of somebodys driving habits than being about the offspring. If up tempo music makes you drive too fast then best to not listen to that type of music while driving. I do love me some Offspring though, should listen to them more often.
@@barklordofthesith2997 I was joking though
@@ecoRfan The joke's on you!
You're a towel!!
This song never gets old. Just loved listening to it.
12 years after..., this song is still legendary
This song makes me think of the anime “Assassination Classroom”.
It fits all the kids so well. But Nagisa embodies this song so damn more
Omg yesss.
Karma fits the manipulative kid the songs talking about. Let's be fair karma typically thinks ahead. Except for during the test when he got that 86 in math.
yes. manly Karma Akabane...
That's gay. Song ruined now.
I'VE BEED SEARCHING FOR A LYRIC VIDEO FOR THIS SONG FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW ONLY TO SHOW UP IN MY RECOMMENDATION OUT OF NOWHERE DAMN
Yes I'm done
There are lyrics on this song everywhere tho 😂
... the wait was pretty pointless. you can literally search "you're gonna go far kid lyrics" and the first video to pop up will be this one...
Anjing
@@ratboy2 maybe they didn't know the song name? And if they didn't know the lyrics they couldn't have looked it up
@@breeban3388 Whoops. Hadn't thought about that. Sorry.
i was probably six/seven yo hearing this for the first time.
every now and then i come back here and now i'm 19 still rockin it.
WHY I FOUND IT JUST NOW AND NOT AGES AGO!?!?!?! It's such a fire. The drums and the gitar and the voice and lyrics. It is literally one of the perfect songs. I will never forget it ''jak bum cyk cyk'' how would a polish man said long time ago ;) These days in 2023 teens don't use old language neighter listen older songs... I'm 17 and see no one listening to epic songs this kinds... dissapointing
This song will always be the song I turn to when I need to feel in charge. It gives me motivation. When I saw them in concert, I waited the whole time just to scream this song, and even started crying. It's just such a powerful song for me..
Yesssssssss

This song 11 years later is still an awesome song
I love this song! It helps me forget the mess and stress that my life currently is and just live in the moment.
Favorite part: “Now dance, fucker, dance!”
Dad: listen to this.
Me: why?
Next month im dressed in black listening to death metal.
Now tell me is there something wrong with this picture?
For the record everyone that says yes is retarded bc of the shit playing these days there is no other alternative.
I've got a non-sarcastic no as my answer.
And Offspring to death metal in a month!? Kudos on your genre exploration.
Naaaaaaaa😂
No, no there's not
As long as you aren't one of those toxic emo kids who say they were born in the wrong generation its fine with me
Amazing this song is still popular after 11 years
Everytime I play as the legion in dbd I think of this song and it fits perfectly
When I hear this song I think I got some power

AHHHHH
You're a legend if you are still listening to this 11 years later.
I remember listening to this 2014-2015 this was such amazing times
Glad to see people still listening to this song in 2019
OH MY GOD THIS SONG BRINGS BACK SO MANY MEMORIES AAAA
this song is pure art
Turning all against the one is an art that only the one who came first and leaves last can master. The Alpha and the Omega.
This sounds like a song that would be used in those good old montages made in Movie Maker, such nostalgia
When I listen to this song all I can see is a bad ass sniper taking on a literal entire army.......
I don't know if there is something wrong with me or that would make a really cool movie.
I agree! Just the feel of the song makes me want to play COD and snipe people.
That'd make an awesome movie, you want me to turn it into a Gacha Mini move?
I need channel content. ;w;
Dude literally same😂 I feel like I can be Master Chief taking on 100 Elites just breaking all their necks 😂
Sniper Elite. That's what you're thinking of
@@about21orphans65 was thinking the same thing! Going to play it in the background next time lmfao.
