In Chrissie and Jane's cake crawl, we're going exploring the cafes of the Fylde Coast, indulging in our favourite treat - a slice of cake! Today we've bought food from Number Five at Cedar Square at the side of St John's Church, Blackpool. We're eating it at the new picnic benches outside the Winter Gardens, put there by Blackpool BID and the council to make space for customers of the food vendors around the square.

Living in Canada your videos provide a wonderful reminder of the Fylde coast that was once our home. Just like you, our mums enjoy a coffee shop crawl and particularly enjoy a stroll down Cleveleys and Rossall. Thank you Jane and Crissie for sharing your adventures and keep up the great work and building community, despite thousands of miles separating our family from the jewel that is the Fylde coast!.

Would absolutely love to come on a cake crawl with you and Chrissie..but 'shock of horrors' I've never had a sweet tooth and the thought of hot chocolate absolutely turns my stomach! Cedar Square and St John's are one of my favourite places in Blackpool. The space is very pretty and you could be in any European city/town with the fountain and outdoor seating. The sunshine helps too 🌞. I'm looking forward to trying Upside Down Coffee on Edward St.

Hi Jane. Gutted I am back home in Northumberland. Good luck in all your future videos. Back to work tomorrow so will miss out on Brew at 2 until half term… thank goodness I can watch it back. Yourself and Chrissie should try Waterfalls Cafe situated in Sandcastle Water Park. Coffee is delicious and they do nice sweet treats and savoury treats too.

Shame Bats was truncated but at least it was near the end. I had a wonderful time with my eldest and partner and on Sunday had all my family with me all day around a blazing camp fire wich lasted til 11pm! Magical memories!
