What was your issue .mine on my 2020 says keyless remote not detected intermittently and just go out after 1 min then won't see it for months or weeks changed battery in fob also
Great video! I wish I had found your fix earlier. I have had this issue for almost a year now. Just saw that Honda has also identified the issue of the starter button. The warranty on my 2016 Honda Pilot has been extended for nine years since purchase or less than 125,000 miles, so I'm expecting this to be fixed for free.

For the 2016 pilot Honda just issued a warranty extension, extended to 125,000 miles
or 9 years whichever comes first so if you fall under warranty honda will replace the
button for free.
They usully lie that’s the big problem with them and try to make unaware customer pay really shady

All you have to do is clean the copper contacts with Alcohol and put the original back in.
Im having the same message on my dash but the car cranks and starts but shuts off a second after turning on , could it still possibly the switch that needs to be replace?
If u got the code u got to proceed with the repair replace it

@@esgarnunez9106 yes this switch is like the key it can cut the car off so u have to start to repair what the code are for

I changed the switch and the message on dashboard is gone but the auto lock when you walk away isn't working still. The feature is enabled. Any ideas?
In the dash they have setting maybe u touched that also the 1 and 2 button on for seat setting will disturb the setting so try selecting one and then 2 if it makes any difference also as u try each setting check the setting in dash with each setting
I had this issue before, I resolved it by disconnecting the battery beneath the hood to allow everything to reset.

It should go away on its own but u can reset it with scan tool

My 2020 pilot intermittently says keyless remote not detected. But remote works fine I even changed battery with a good battery not cheap battery.remote is in cup holder and like I said it only does it once in a while sometimes while driving sometimes in idle then It will go away in like 1 min or if I restart my 2020 pilot it won't come back for few days or months .will this be the issue fix
It could be somthing related to brake switch or relay or this push start button gotta check to see if brake lights come on next time u try to start and it dosent come on

@RB The Mechanic ok it just happened again while keyless remote not detected was on I got out and checked the brake lights they all work and I checked the pin on brake switch has tons of sping back no sticking I even took it out inspected it works great .
@RB The Mechanic now I'm replacing the battery again even though there not even 2 month old .all because it's new doesn't mean it's good lol type of deal I'll get back if it happens again after replacing battery again
