yes he just comes to the venue with all his gear completely unprepared and oblivious to what he wants to play or what sounds his equipment is making. then he just starts jamming randomly and never compiles that into a track. and if it so happens it becomes a track he will NEVER play those sounds again live.
@@Slothen, I agree with most of that, but to say he is completely unprepared I would say no. He will have certain plugins, loops and samples that are his "go to'".
@@loupneige its because all is quantized, i dont know if you have produced but if youre doing a live set in ableton theres no way you can mess it up with the timing because the daw quantize it for you, he doesnt need headphones because even if he misses for a split second, its not gonna mess up everyhting, he just goes with the flow and also of course he is a master at producing, he knows to count perfectly, every 32 64 times its when they add something take something, i wouldnt say he is 90 percent more like a 60 70 tops
@@loupneige not that hard for a musician at his level, he already knows every single one of them, what he does indeed prepare its the sound bank he uses on the live set, he knows exactly which percussions, basslines, synts, drums etc he has because he has already used them in his tracks, he also maybe prepares a little bit the order of the rack he is gonna play but he probably just ends up doing whatever he wants seeing how te people react, this guys is the real deal as an artist, sad to see people praise more tik tok songs than art like this but then again a lof of people do admire ion, he deserves the entire world, excellent dj and even better producer
i saw him playing in june 2022 at the beach somewhere in Tunisia 🇹🇳 a live set for more than 8 hours... THAT CHANGED MY LIFE ✨
